And that shows he doesn't even understand what the ADA does. It doesn't create some privileged class of "disabled" who automatically have special powers and can go around committing crimes. It prevents discrimination because of a disability when the disability itself is irrelevant to the employment.
I thought it also covered access to public spaces. Like if I own a business, my restroom has to be big enough to accommodate a wheelchair, and I can't stop you from entering just because you're in a wheelchair. Like a strip club couldn't stop Russ from entering just because of his face, but they could stop him from coming if they knew of his reputation for harassing the dancers and causing a scene.

I remember Gavin De Becker saying celebrities should NOT have much contact with their fans, it only encourages the weirdos to keep bothering them.
Rebecca Schaffer was one he mentioned, Robert Bardo had written her a few times, and she personally wrote him back, and when he got weird and she cut off his letters, that was part of what made him go off the deep end.
There's an article that talks about Russ, and the author quotes someone who says celebrities shouldn't take selfies with their fans, as it creates the illusion they have a relationship with their fans. Of course, Russ thought he had a relationship with Taylor Swift even though the best evidence available says she has no idea who he is. He got the idea because he doesn't understand that celebrities don't know or need to know everything their people do to insulate them from weirdos.

Just like he kicked Skordas' ass in court with his awesome evidence.
He accuses Skordas of wrongdoing in his Taylor Swift book because Skordas moved to have the whole suit tossed right off the bat, and Russ thought he got to go first. He later said he would have won if the judge let him show his evidence, which proves he didn't understand why the case was dismissed in the first place (jurisdiction, for those who don't want to look it up). If the court rules it doesn't have jurisdiction, there's no point in proceeding further. The fact Russ didn't understand that shows how little he actually learned in Discount Mormon Business College.

Any relationship he'd be in she'd be the one in charge. All she has to do is close her legs and he'd do anything to get between them again.

You just know that if, by some miracle, he managed to marry some woman she'd be the dominant one in that relationship.
I doubt his narcissism would accept that. Remember how he acted with Molly?

Access is somewhat a different issue, in that there are a lot of exceptions to it. Old businesses do not necessarily have to build ramps up to their second story shop that they've been in for 100 years. Most states have their own laws and regulations specifically telling businesses what they have to do. California for instance has a cottage industry of serial plaintiffs finding technical violations and then suing over them. Since their disability laws have automatic fee-shifting, this is a very fertile field for wheelchair chasers.

Welp, found my next career. BBL, off to find a cheap law school.

By his own admission, Russ has never had a girlfriend, and has never had sex without paying for it. That would evoke sympathy for most people, but since Russ's personality is an all-natural 100% effective pre-conception contraceptive, things are as they should be.

Since sex is seemingly the only motivator in his life to be cut off from it he'd do whatever he could, in private at least, to regain access to it.

Sure he'd still be all "tough" online and act like he's a super stud but in real life he'd be down on his knees promising her the world if she would only suck him his penis.

Being *seen* to be having sex is just as important to him. That's why he has to parade hookers around on dates at chain restaurants.
And speaking of hookers, if hypothetical wife cut him off, he'd feel more than justified to fall back on them as something to stick his dick in.

I think he'd be more likely to tard rage at a woman he was in a relationship with (so he basically owns her, right?) telling him no.

IIRC, California enacted a law to prevent these bottom-feeders from doing just that. For a small infraction, the business now has so many days to fix it without going to court.
We had a guy in my area who would go around with a measuring tape, and if a doorway was off by a millimeter, he would have his lawyer send the business a letter threatening to sue, but if the business threw a few thousand his way, the lawsuit would disappear.
The law put this asshole out of business.

I was just looking at Greer's post trying to recruit people in West Wendover, NV to sit on the ASN committee. I looked it up and West Wendover is in Elko County where brothels are already legal. So I guess this means he is trying to legalize it outright (outside of brothels) in that one tiny town (population 4,300)?

Starting small? So unlike him. If it were anyone else, I would think he realized that changing laws requires far more effort than he originally envisioned and has adjusted his strategy accordingly. But this is Russell Greer. Maybe he's planning to set up a committee in every petition district. Maybe he wants these "committee members" to collect signatures in that district (at a much lower cost than paid signature gatherers.) That would be very much his m.o. (get somebody else to do the heavy lifting for cheap.) But as others have said, I wonder how he intends to pay them.

When googling West Wendover, I came across a couple reviews of the town on Niche.com. A lovely small town with not much to do and little economic opportunity. Everyone knows everyone else's business. Sounds like a great place to make prostitution legal and cheap. It can only benefit everyone.

I can imagine his pitch. Something something, publicizing the song a disabled man wrote about Heidi will boost her career something something. I bet the publicist returned a firm, professional "NO," which put them firmly on Greer's ever growing list of Those Who Have Done Him Wrong.

Wendover's big claims to fame are that its the closest place to the Salt Lake Metro area to gamble and where a lot of Salt Lake area locals go when they don't want to go through the cost and hassle of going to Vegas, it's really close to the Bonneville Salt Flats and a popular place to stop/stay during Speed Week, and it's home to the Wendover Army Air Field where the air crews of the Enola Gay and Bockscar trained to drop Little Boy and Fat Man on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It's got three "major" casino/hotels and its an interesting place to visit if you're a World War Two history buff.

My 70 year old mother sends me funnier memes.
...but Russ made an effort! Where are HER fruits?!

I think I had an aha moment of Russ's sudden interest in Wendover. He knows that most of the time brothel workers live at the brothel 2 weeks at a time and can't leave during their contract. He also seems aware that some brothel workers come from other places to the brothel to work (his bunny ranch cab was delayed in one yelp review because of a bunny pickup taking priority over him).

I bet his in under the probably mistaken notion that the brothel workers in Wendover are mostly locals and prostitutes would stick their necks out politically to be able to work outside the brothels under their own terms. Maybe there are some local lifers that live "normal* lives in or near Wendover and work 14-day shifts in the houses. But I'd guess many live elsewhere and Russ has no idea. Plus think of the amount of girls that brothel a handful of times for quick cash never to do it again.

All roads point to Russ and his PAC as a way to surround himself with hookers grateful for something they would and could do on their own if it was worthwhile.

That's one of my favourite parts of Russ. It's like the teenager who wants everyone to know they finally had sex. Given how important this social aspect is to him I'm surprised he hasn't faked more girlfriends or sexual encounters.

Hilarious. Both lawyers stricken with the “man flu.” Pardon my ignorance, but did the lawyers file this motion or did he? Just seems like a little bit of a stretch for lawyers to write something like this. “Judge! The dog ate my lawyers filings…etc”.
Eh... actually the reason they're requesting the filing is because they both caught the flu and they have an imminent deadline for filing in a Supreme Court case which they don't think can be extended (apparently the Supreme Court wants them to file "before it adjourns for its summer recess").
I still find that a little dodgy. "We're too sick to work on this case, but we're totes well enough to work on this other case first, lowly non-SCOTUS court. We're cooler than you, so you can wait, lol."

At last someone replied to one of Shit Lips Deranged comments on one of julafife photos. I'm sure this had to rattle him some.
That's creepy as fuck (poor girl) but it's also hilarious to see someone as (seemingly) rabid and clingy as Russ get feisty with him over a girl neither of them can have.
