If they ask anything even remotely about your hobbies then go off on a huge tangent about something really niche. Trains and sonic the hedgehog is too obvious and a bit of a meme. Talk about how you collect Bakelite light switches or something like that. Research manufacturers, model numbers, the manufacture process, etc. Then talk about it constantly and ignore all social cues telling you that the other person has no interest in what you're talking about. Keep talking like it's a super interesting topic until they explicitly tell you to stop.
Yeah, but this is one of the exact reasons why modern psychiatry has become such a joke; at this point 90% of the time people come in there knowing what they want the doctor to say, meaning that instead of being as honest as possible with a psychiatrist it becomes an adversarial gatekeeping process, and if they don't get that psychiatrist to tell them what they want to hear they'll just go to a different one with their set of bullet points they picked up online. Then they'll walk around with their diagnosis going "See, see, a doctor gave me an excuse slip! Now I'm allowed to have problems!"
The entire concept of psychiatric medicine today is an absolute farce. A lot of mental health professionals are very well intentioned people who want to help so I mean this with little malice, but by and large they're all useless fucking hacks, and in most cases the people who are most likely to actually need them are the least likely to actually go to them.
At this point the well has been so poisoned if I was a doctor I probably wouldn't give out
any adult autism diagnosis. If someone's autistic they would've known long before hitting adulthood, some time around when they were nonverbal and still not bathroom trained by age 5.
Not a neet or KHHV but I honestly feel at ease shitposting in kiwifarms/4chans more than interacting with normies
Well no duh neko person, because they're all strangers. You have to have a strong personality and be very secure to both have an IQ above 80 and not be socially anxious nowadays. The world moves too fast, there's too much going on, and there are way, way too many shallow interactions with too many people. Everybody these days acts flaky.
There is nothing wrong with you, it's the world that has something wrong with it. People weren't built to live the way we do.
