I doubt it's that, Chris is just trying to avoid punishment and he's doing it the only way he knows how and trying to blame others for his failings. Chris mirrors the language and patterns of people he talks to and seeing as he's recently gotten out of a medical institution and back into jail he's likely been meeting with his solicitor regularly or communicating with him at least so that's the language he is using.

My guess is he was going to try "My client is a imbicile and a victim of trolling" but once he got to know Chris and just how retarded and deep the rabbit hole goes with Chris he's now just settled on trying to do the best he can and move on.

My thoughts on the mental hospital arc is the extended stay in the jail is bothering him to no end.

If you think about it, in his previous incarceration, he has only spent a weekend in jail after his macing incident. He seems to think he will be sent home where he can deal with it at a later time.

We saw in his September court appearance that he wanted to go home and "get his stuff". He has said in subsequent letters that he expected to be sent home at the next court hearing in February. When that did not happen, he must have chimped out.

His odd behaviour before the chimpout would have had the guards on edge, so whatever happened during the meltdown was enough to get them to send him to the mental hospital. (I have heard some tales on the extreme measures guards might go to if a inmate so much as utters that he wants to kill himself, for example)

So as for this latest chimpout that Chris has alluded to that happened at the end of this stay at the puzzle factory? For me, the reason only has one conclusion: he learned he was being sent back to the jailhouse, and not being sent home.

He was sent there for a restoration of competency and a evaluation, he likely didn't chimp much or at all in Jail - he had one run in that we know of when he tried to point out a portal to the guards. He was expecting to go home but Chris always expects what he want to happen will happen and when it doesnt he gets pissy.

So as for this latest chimpout that Chris has alluded to that happened at the end of this stay at the puzzle factory? For me, the reason only has one conclusion: he learned he was being sent back to the jailhouse, and not being sent home.

My working hypothesis is he didn't like the idea of going back to Jail because it was less comforts for him than the jail, he likely had a nicer bed, some more privileges and time to talk to people like the staff rather than being locked up in protective custody all day with nothing but his Bible, Koran, Goddess log and Radio he can't afford to run 24/7 to keep him company, and he's not getting as many regular top-ups so he can't eat the pain away with junk food.

He didn't like the idea the comforts he was starved of for 6 months coming back in some way and then getting removed from him was earth shattering to him so he likely had a mild chimp out and got restrained, but it wasn't bad enough for them to keep him at the Mental facility and they recognised it as some form of Autistic meltdown rather than a progression in his mental health problems.

Remember, you don't get a reaction out of Chris by giving him stuff you get it by witholding or removing what he thinks he is entitled to0.
