I'm surprised some hacker group isn't jailbreaking them by now.
Regarding Teslas
The batteries are modular. The only possible way to make more money by software locking battery is to offer a subscription and not be hackable. I finished poking through their site and no vehicle had a software locked battery (multiple ranges with otherwise same performance. You're always paying more for faster, but worse range) and they seem to have removed the software locked fast mode, at least you don't see it at ordering. Only thing software locked it the autonomous driving.

They managed to propagandize people into believing COVID-19 was piling up corpses in the streets, that losing control of the government in Kiev to Russia poses an existential threat to America, and that fairies appear at 4am to drop hundreds of thousands of ballots into people's laps, so they figure they can get people to believe that actually $5.00 gas is good!
They didn't have to propagandize anyone into believing $5 a gallon gas is good. The bugmen literally believe it should be $10 or higher, because then maybe those stooooopid retarded racist evil white rural voters living in -- heh -- "flyover country" will stop driving everywhere and just take the subway or bus across town like sane human beings. The concept that people might live in places where it's a 45 minute car drive to the nearest grocery store is literally unthinkable to the email caste, and they consider it a moral failing that people would live like that. The idea that this would affect food prices, delivery prices, what have you is again, complete gibberish to them, because the left doesn't believe in unintended consequences. Higher fuel prices? Won't affect anything but stoooooopid rednecks driving cars like fucking MONSTERS.

Clearly, what they need to do is create bugmen hives in rural states -- Biden literally tried to push this during Obama's era, pushing for mandatory giant apartment complexes (Ghetto Housing Projects, in other words) that would require entire cities to be re-engineered to support -- and then the rest of the state can be filled with random subhuman brown people or drones who don't need to travel and can run the Blackrock and Gates Foundation owned megafarms.

I'm just trying to see what their endgame is here.

The more they insist the economy is fine, when it is not, the more severe the backlash would be when they are finally forced to admit it when breadlines form and legitimate looting starts to occur. Do they really think they can keep the magical chairs running on fumes until 2024?
I think the endgame is to kick the can down to 2023 where they can blame the GOP for fucking up the economy after the midterms. Or 2025 where they can blame it all on Trump.

It's not that deep. They either:
  1. Genuinely think the Economy is fine because they're fucking idiots
  2. Think this is temporary and it will recover in the short term, before people get too upset (The Chicken Strategy)
  3. Think that the damage to the economy is a good thing for other goals (climate change, great reset, war in Ukraine risking their embezzlement schemes, etc)
  4. Think they can delay until it's the next guy's problem (and fault).
Given that they were stupid enough to intentionally completely tank the economy either because they genuinely were terrified of some sniffles or because they needed to get Trump out of office / needed to get us back on track for some sort of planned decay agenda, I'm presuming it's a combination of the above. Although the idea that they might be banking on losing power makes #4 maybe a bit out there... Although I could see them getting someone else in in 2024 and going "well, Biden tried, bless his heart, but he just wasn't up to it, but don't worry, President Pelosi has got this in the bag!"

>invite celeb to your press briefing to talk gun control
>he instead spends all of his time spouting GOP talking points

I had heard Matthew's political thoughts before and was absolutely stunned the WH invited him to speak on this issue. I figured that perhaps they had convinced him to change his tune and toe the DNC line, because he sure didn't before. Then he goes to the national stage & puts forth the same moderate stances he'd taken before. Based.

The WH was high on their PR win from inviting a boy band that doesn't speak english, and apparently just assumed every celeb shared their exact same bullshit agenda. Get fucked, Team Biden.

I'm not sure I can accept the dems plan is to lose and blame trump or the GOP. I can accept it might be a strategist's idea. But the DNC apparatus was so defeated by losing to trump they did everything they could to get him out of office. That's how much their ego took a hit.

The DNC politicians live in their own pocket of reality. They dont give a fuck about what happens to us peons.

Did they crop this out or something? Becuase he's schrodinger's gun-grabber right now apparently.

He could've made the Texas Gubernatorial against Abbott more interesting, even in a Red Wave, but Texas libs are so frenzied by being in a red state for so long that they just had to choose 2-time loser, going on 3, Beta O'Dourke.

Looking at how many progressives are slipping in and winning primaries this cycle shows how pyrrhic the victory was for the Dems.

With Trump in office in '22, a few more of those lunatics could have gotten in, especially with the Feds chimping out more in that timeline than in this one. Any progressive Dem who wins will make the seats winnable for Republicans.

5. They got theirs and literally don't give two shits about anything else. As long as they keep the big houses, two daily scoops of ice cream, and endless flow of children to molest the rest of you can rot.

He didn't fence sit at all. His 'common sense gun control' is exactly what the dems want. Including the other stuff is just for soundbytes.
"Common sense gun control" IS the soundbyte.
It can mean anything and usually does.
Depending on who you are, you'll take it as him wanting a gun ban or him wanting to give everyone an M4 on taxpayer money.

Look up a few posts, he literally said what he means. Ban on sales to anyone under 21, more background checks, more waiting periods, and red flag laws. If he stopped at the first message only he would be fence sitting. He is parroting the democrat line.

There are primaries/elections in seven states today - California, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico and South Dakota. Here are some of the highlights:
  • San Francisco prosecutor Chesy Boudin is facing a recall because he doesn't do his fucking job. No candidates running against him, just a simple 'yes I want him gone, no I don't want him gone' vote. The recent recall of a group of hysterically woke school board members in SF makes me slightly hopeful but not too much.
  • The Los Angeles mayoral race is obviously going to be won by a Democrat, the question is which one. Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) was once on Biden's list of potential VP picks, and there was also once an attempt to dethrone Pelosi and replace her with Bass, but that didn't pan out. Now she's fighting a bunch of other candidates including Rick Caruso, a billionaire who used to be a registered Republican and donated to Republicans. Caruso is running on a generic tough on crime platform and is also endorsed by Snoop Dogg.
  • Ryan Zinke, Trump's Secretary of the Interior is trying to get back into politics by running for the new House seat Montana gained this year.
  • Rep. David Valadao (R-CA), who voted to impeach Trump, is facing primary today. He has three challengers but Trump hasn't endorsed any of them and generally has kept quiet about Valadao. Fox News claims it's because Valadao isn't a diehard anti-Trumper like the others. Others suspect it's because the district is D+6*. The Republican Establishment has been spending money to prop up Valadao and make sure he wins his primary.
