Culture Recruiter posts controversial TikTok video - Deranged HR Lady in Canada May Have Done Herself In With an Unhinged Tiktok video.

The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) in Ontario has responded to a controversial TikTok video by one of its members.
Labelled “Some friendly HR advice,” the video is over two minutes in length and posted by a self-proclaimed recruiter who is identified as Tammy Sepetis by online users.
The video has so far had 2.3 million views.

A tweet by HRPA states: “HRPA is aware of this video post by one of its regulated members and does not condone or endorse in any way the statements made about HR practice therein. Further, HRPA is reviewing this matter to determine if there has been a breach of its Rules of Professional Conduct.”
Read more: In February, another recruiter also generated controversy when she posted online about lowballing a job candidate.
The woman on TikTok speaks to “freedom fighters,” warning them about posting content on social media.
“If you're looking for a job or maybe trying to keep a job, maybe, just maybe think about what you're putting on social media — again, freedom fighters, I know you're not really big with stats and, you know, facts aren't your thing — but what I can tell you, what is a fact, is that recruiters talk, and recruiters, like the majority of Canada, don't agree with you.
“Do you know what that means? Do have any guesses? Any guesses what that means? What that means is that if you need a job, you might not get one; if you want to keep a job, you might not get to do that,” she says.

“You want to be an asshole? We document it. We give you a couple tries, then what do we do? We terminate you, with cause, if we're so lucky; if not, we give you the minimum allowed by law. Either way, best of luck to you.”
The woman claims recruiters and HR are “watching everywhere.”
“We hate you so much. And you think we can't do anything? But we can, we have the power — always. Remember that. It doesn't matter if there's a fucking man at the top of your HR department, it's run by women. And it's run by angry women just like me.”
She ends the video by swearing at the group.
A LinkedIn profile of Sepetis has now been deleted, but mentioned she was an HR manager based in Burlington, Ont. who has her CHRL and CHRP from HRPA.

This woman is all over twitter. She locked her twitter account into protected status last I saw, deleted her linkedin. In a normal, healthy society politcal disagreements should not lead to this sort of disenfranchisement, but this is not just political disagreement, although it really is not anymore anyway as we barrel towards a state of intractably irrenconcilable differences. The International Association indicated this is likely an ethics violation of some sort and may conduct an investigation. Here is the video on youtube. As far as I know, it is the complete, original tiktok video, with some intermittent clips from horror movies.

Back in 2019, Google warned employees to cease all political talk while on the job due to its “disruptive” nature.

What in Gods holy name is going on with her eyes? That has to be some kind of crazy filter or something? Those eyes aren't human at all.

What the fuck? This cunt can't actually be real.

Why is anyone surprised. That’s literally how most company operate now. They just don’t tell you.

It is always a surpise when people say the quiet part aloud, particularly when the quiet part is a flagrant ethics violations of HR rules. That there is a guild of hr people blows my mind. My grandfather was a top executive in the 60s and 70s in a resource and manufacturing concern. HR did not even exist... Now it is somethng with an association and ethical rules, not unlike the State and National Bar associations...

I'm not surprised. It's gotten to the point where HR seem to be in so much power that they think they are on the same level as a CEO.

The few jobs I worked at that DIDN'T have an HR section just got along with their day to day shit with little to no issues and whatever issues people had with each other they dealt with it themselves. As soon as they added an HR department, all of a sudden you had these assinine rules and regulations and that's when the knives came out.

Now-a-days it's gotten so bad that HR departments can't even be bothered to do one of the jobs that their supposed to do (looking at potential hires and their resumes that get sent into the company). They let a fucking AI and different computer programs to do that, which are not foolproof, because you can have the most professional looking resume out there, but if it can't find any specific key words, then it'll get passed. It's why places like the Department of Labor tell people to slice their resume in half and only use bullet-points, but at that point the resume looks so unprofessional that people like hiring agencies do a double take as if you sent it in error because it looks bare-bones and incomplete.

I got into like a two hour argument with some retard about how the Boston Dynamics dancing robot videos are a CGI psyop designed to see how easily our overlords can trick us (not even an investment scam, CIA CGI psyop all the way, full power).

I'm starting to think that guy had the right idea and the wrong target, because there is definitely something fucking unreal and disturbing about those facial expressions.

>hates 'freedom fighters'
so this blonde, white woman hates SJWs fighting the status quo of capitalism?
smdh this lady is a bigot; when will the horrors of goobergate end? ;_;

HR departments exist as a direct response to the government forcing itself on businesses in regards to employee rights and "equality" in the workplace. As when the government sticks its head into anything, the problems got worse rather than better. This led to massive legal cases that scared businesses into creating contingency departments like HR that exist to hire people with no actual leadership ability (Where most Karen's work) but have enough power to more or less control the company. Because whoever controls who gets hired controls what the companies culture and practices will eventually become.

I am not saying employee rights and fair treatment are not important, but things were far better when the government kept its nose out and people were allowed to deal with those issues internally without HR fucking things up or leave for a better job.

Her advice is sound though; stop posting on social media.
She should've auditioned to play Dolores Umbridge though; she's amazing.

And she won too; She's in power and they're not. She's going to get not even a slap on the wrist while they lose a lot if not everything. Only until they decide to use their power instead of half-assing it with balloons and trampolines will they ever have a chance to fight back.

That said; HR departments are cancer. Never seen a business that ran worse without one. Specially man-oriented ones like repair shops, mechanic garages, sanitation, or brick-laying. You either do your job or get fired, and you either pay or you lose a thumb.

Wasn't it called Personnel back then?

It’s absolutely great that these demons are ripping their human masks off. I appreciate it.

Also appreciate working in a throwback blue collar environment which has resisted installing an HR department for decades.

At first I was like “this is weird” but as time went on I understood why it is brilliant and necessary. The payroll department handles 90% of the complaints by being competent, a few managers handle issues as they come up. Are there a few toxic people? Sure, but HR departments are usually worse themselves.

It helps that the only women they hire are wives and daughters of existing staff with a strict “no fraternizing” culture. The ladies are coddled but there is a distance which is the best way for all to get along.

Best job I’ve ever had.

I don't know. I would ask him but he is dead. They may have had a Personnel Department back then, I am not really sure. I think the hiring, evaluation was just part of management generally.

This phenomenon is born out of TItle IX. I know for a fact that most corporate entities go through secret, confidential protocols before firing someone in a protected class. Some blackie is misbehaving, doing a shitty job, or doing things one ought not do? Everything is documented, all is dotted and ts crossed, so that if there is even an attempt at a racial discrimination claim, the proof is there.

I have not been able to verify this, but Stefan Molyneux, back before he was shoahed, claimed that the endorphin one gets when helping get someone a person does not like fired has an endorphin rush comparable to a cocaine high. So of course it is a disaster where society has created this entity called HR, dominated mostly by women and gay men, that has that kind of power, with endorphin rushes for clipping people.

As a somewhat relevant side note to my late grandfather, I bought him a book featuring photos of Urban Decay in Detroit. He used to go there on business trips in the 60s and 70s. There is a famous picture of a ruined hotel ballroom with a destroyed grand piano. He pointed it out to me and stated he recalled being at a reception in that very ball room....

If you peruse her facebook it's a nonstop stream of wine aunt crap, BPD shit, and posts/memes about how compassionate/caring/open-minded she is being posted every 5 minutes and crap like this.

There's even posts that allude to being unemployed so thankfully she may not even be in a position to screw people over, or ever will be if her nutsy manic behavior is any indication.

I am amazed that shit is not locked down or deleted. Can someone archive all of this? Maybe she forgot her faceberg password or something.
