Gas went up twenty cents a gallon here this morning, at least downtown. Gas well over $6/gallon for regular, at or approaching $7/gallon for premium. Will check gas prices on base next Friday when I fill up.
Stepdaughter told me earlier this week she and her friends had to bid against other groups/families to be able to rent a town house in San Jose. They won, paying about $3600/month. This shows just how terrible the housing situation is in the SF Bay Area.
Have neighbors, two roommates, moving out. Rents in our complex went up $250/month, and they both work in the SF Bay Area, about 65 miles each way. Moving back in with their families.
This shit is what's concerning people, not this J6 bullshit.
