Personally, one of my favourite gaming YouTubers is KimJustice who is trans - the difference is that she doesn't even bother mentioning it or talking about it (though it's apparent in the channel's logo) because it's a gaming channel and all she talks about is gaming. I wouldn't care if she brought up being trans as long as the videos were still about games and gaming in general. With Jim, as soon as he "transitioned" (and I put that in quotes because even he can't decide what he's transitioned to), the videos were 50% about that rather than the games.
I wish more of them were like that. I've gotten to the point where I'll see a new video in my feed, get 30 seconds into it, hear the trans falsetto of an untrained or poorly trained voice, and fuck right off because all of them inevitably drag that shit in way too much.
