TGWTG Nostalgia Chick / Lindsay Ellis / TheDudette - aka Hotdogs in face girl

@Random Internet Person I think you suggested earlier that she might announce book 3 at her VidCon book panel and it does now seem quite likely she'll do exactly that for the greater public at that time. It's as friendly an audience as she's ever going to have. Maybe she'll even make an effort at marketing this one herself, who knows. But if the publishers couldn't be bothered to market the 2nd one, for book 3 it's up to her and her network of sycophants to shill.
I think it depends on how much effort she's planning on putting into this last book. For some, they might pull out all the stops and put in the best effort they can, using this as one last chance at redemption that could salvage their career and get things back on track. This being Lindsay though, I think she might have just given up. I can see her just shitting something out to get it over and done with so she can move on and try to pretend this whole thing never happened.

He's not wrong about the contracts - publishers will follow a contract to the letter of the law. But are not obliged to go any further.

Case in point, she has a three book contract. They are required to print one more book from Lindsay - they are not required to give it another dime of advertising or marketing.
What's the definition of a "book" ? By that I mean could they technically honour the contract and yet cut her off by shitting out a duology of her works? Would that count as a book under the contract, or would it need to be a new story entirely?

Did she really? I'll be interested to see if that's true, given St. Martin's Press certainly hasn't said a word about it. Anyone able to leak her Patreon exclusive posts?

Way her sales looked, and her meltdown, I wonder if it will come with the clearance stickers already attached on release. There are still stacks of her books collecting dust in stores everywhere.

As for the subreddit...

I posted LITERAL screencaps from NPD Bookscan. What more could they want?

Lindsay may be in denial, but these sad fucks don't have to be.

I know we have some of her simps here keeping eyes on the forum.

What do I have to do to make you admit her sales numbers are real?

There is no way in hell they will believe any evidence, as shown where they simply believe something with legitimate proof is somehow lacking evidence. We have to remember, these are the same people who believe Amber Heard is innocent and that grooming isn't happening in schools. Or they believe CRT doesn't exist in schools. And they can't tell us what a woman is. They are possessed by their ideology and they are hopeless, which is why they are Lindsay subredditors to begin with.

The only way to get them to admit it is if we line up all the people who bought her book, point to the tiny crowd, and go "see, here they are."

But even then they would believe their white savior sold way more because they still see plenty of copies in the bargain bin.

My real concern is that I can't tell who's really simping for her. It's either lesbians or troons who want to copy her inconsistent feminist film theory position as they virtue signal in hope they get views so they can pay bills for watching My Little Pony OR it's a male feminist who prays to Santa Christ every night that maybe one day he'll get a crumb of Lindsay coochie if he defends her honor by lying for her and gaslighting anyone who reads their drivel.

Either way it's most likely she(sadly) has more male followers than female and we're dealing with a bunch of male idiots who both can't read her book and sources of her numbers properly.

I actually want those knuckleheads to spread the good word of Lindsay into every subreddit they go on. Spread it to r/scifiwriting, make an axiom's end subreddit, make it as popular as possible. Turn it into the new wheel of time or Brandon Sanderson book meme. Have every single redditor know the name Cora Ortega and have it become mentioned in game show trivia.

I want that to happen because at that point... Lindsay would come out of hiding and believe there's a big crowd for her to blow kisses at and accept flying roses on the face like she did with hotdogs. But in reality, we're all going to be enjoying it the same way people enjoy The Room. And even then it would be more like a Birdemic or Samurai Cop kind of appreciation.

In this four-and-a-half hour video essay I'm going to be tracing the roots of pop culture fatphobia in Aladdin: Return of Jafar.

Look, it's funny to make fun of her weight and all but I'm actually disgusted by this. I can't believe someone would do something like this. Pictures like these are not to be shared, not to be memed, not to be spread around. Okay? I'm really offended by this.

I cannot believe someone would put time out of their life to change her body size and make her look SKINNIER than she actually is.

First episode: Lindsay goes to see Dr. Now and talks to him about how Nanny's lack of a face in Muppet Babies formed early perceptions of how young girls sided with ideological perceptions of beauty in Saturday morning cartoons throughout the '80s (for an hour and a half).

Second episode: Lindsay's follow-up with Dr. Now is a two hour response video to audience reactions of her from the first episode.

From clips I've seen, wouldn't he just tell her to shut up and keep to the topic at hand, which is that she's fat and needs to lose weight? That'd be funnier to see her reaction to someone point blank telling her she isn't special.

Looks like Lindsay is trying to become a parent. Let's see how that works out. I guess this isn't surprising considering that tweet talking about her therapist using the term geriatric pregnancy when talking about Lindsay possibly getting pregnant.
If Lindsay is in fact pregnant (or is at least trying), I don’t think this’ll stop the site from ragging on her. Look at Ethan Ralph.

If anything , it explains her Internet silence.
