The fuck he's going to do? Debate the gun?
An armed wrongthinker has a chance of surviving the Party's goons and attack dogs. The fuck he's going to do? Debate the gun?
Covid was the only reason Biden won. It was his number one issue and is his most "net positive" issue currently, even though he is still underwater on it.I mean, I think Trump was bad at covid, but I also think he was going to lose anyway due to his unpresidential demeanor. If anything, Covid threw him a lifeline, which he quickly threw away by, among other things, saying it would be over by Easter despite everyone damn well knowning it wouldn't be.
The entire post-primary campaign took place after Covid was in the country, you can't say what his issues would have been in a non-Covid world. Trump's was going to be the economy, Biden's was going to be Trump- and Trump was not popular. Its only in the last month or two that Biden's current rating got lower than Trump's was during that time in his presidency (and bear in mind, Trump's ratings were remarkably consistent for the full four years- he was ALWAYS in trouble and time was ticking down on him to fix that.)Covid was the only reason Biden won. No, the consistency means that some people didn’t like Trump as a person but did vote for and would vote for him again. If you believe that the favorability directly relates to vote share, then he never would have won the election. The entire post-primary campaign took place after Covid was in the country, you can't say what his issues would have been in a non-Covid world. He's also apparently polling in the low 20's with young adults and Hispanics. His real number is likely orders of magnitude lower than what is currently being shown by 538 and RCP.He is now polling in the 20's with independants and even lower with the 3rd party voters
Hillary had high net disapproval ratings too. Lots of people also voted third party in that election AND he lost the popular to her anyways, his 46.1 percent was better than Clinton in '92 (when Ross Perot got over 18 percent of the vote) but would have seen him losing any other Presidential election in my lifetime. No, the consistency means that some people didn’t like Trump as a person but did vote for and would vote for him again. There's not much room for orders of magnitude on a 100 point scale, especially one that very strongly gravitates towards the mean so you never go below 1.He's also apparently polling in the low 20's with young adults and Hispanics. Covid disrupted people's lives, made people lose jobs, and played games with the economy and supply chains. I just don't buy that with a stronger economy and no Covid, Trump would've still lost because of "temperment" when that "temperment" was supposed to get us into nuclear Holocaust in one year yet for 4 years, got us nothing but peace deals. The entire post-primary campaign took place after Covid was in the country, you can't say what his issues would have been in a non-Covid world. True, I meant in relation to where he is now. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if only the hardcore partisans and costal elites were left at this point. I think he's completely lost most of the country by shitting the bed in such an epic fashion. There's not much room for orders of magnitude on a 100 point scale, especially one that very strongly gravitates towards the mean so you never go below 1.
"Bbbut but Drumpfler McCheeto is a big fat stinky meanie doo doo head who yells all the time!!!!"It's the economy, stupid.
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Trump not being "presidential" something his base liked about the guy? That instead of taking shit from his adversaries and taking the high ground to get smeared with dignity like a retard he would fling shit right back at them; and that he didn't feel like yet another politician with a blatantly manufactured image to try and connect with the "common man" but instead was a crass loudmouth who enjoyed gorging on fast food?Trump didn't lose for "unpresidential behavior" when a month before an election a tape came out about him saying "Grab em by the pussy" and getting sued (albeit fraudulently to declare him a pedophile) for him raping an underage girl. I don't think you can go lower than that for unpresidential behavior, yet he still won.
Okay, but in order for there to be even a single (let alone multiple) order of magnitude difference, his true polling would have to be in the low single digits, not jut in the 20s.True, I meant in relation to where he is now. I heare some of the redditors got killed because Russia intercepted their texts message while the other found put the reality didn't match their expectations and fled the countryThe media was also trying to get people to think Putin would get coup'ed by the war and the Reddit brigade would be in Moscow by now. All we know about the war now is that it's a stalemate.
He's probably too busy getting cleaned from shitting himself.
I swear these types of people have that Joe Rogan mindset of "there were things that got Trump elected in 2016, but goddamn I can't believe Trump was elected! I mean look at him!"Covid disrupted people's lives, made people lose jobs, and played games with the economy and supply chains. People run on records. Trump's record was a crass retard with good policy and Coof changed the latter to be much more negative. And yet he still almost won.
