She was blacked out on 5-6 bars of Xanax minimum - as we know from the photo she posted right before she cut herself - and in a blackout one does things they normally would consider insane / stupid / embarrassing. Luna decided to dig a hole into the middle of her new tattoo.

Because she’s a lying liar who lies. And her excuse that she did it because she’s “sober” as a comeback to people calling out the grift is the biggest red flag. She claims she never cut herself when she was publicly using dope, but that’s bullshit because she cut herself the most when she was using the most but never like that. It’s like she pretends there isn’t years of photo evidence of this. And the cuts stopped appearing when she claimed to have stopped using, which I think is true that she doesn’t use dope daily like before. Then she starts including the fact that it was a dollar store knife in her Reddit post because she reads us (despite ppl thinking she doesn’t) questioning Lurch’s initial mention of it in an attempt to legitimize the story.

I agree she was high af on benzos when she did it but all these things point to high retard accident being used for sympathy, attention and free money. If she admits she got high and hurt herself that ruins her whole sobriety LARP, but turn it into intense self harm because I’m sober, saves all of it in her sped brain.

ETA: of course, we’ll never know exactly what happened because again, liar. I just don’t think she’d be high or sad enough to ever stab one of her tattoos on purpose, especially since she never did at her lowest.

I also think the situation with her Xanax supplier/ mother gives her motivation to provide a self harm wound that would have her documented as suicidal at an ER, as opposed to her usual superficial upper arm or thigh cutting. it’s now been four days, then the weekend, and today i’ve been trying to get in touch with my psychiatrist and she doesn’t call back. the receptionist keeps telling me that she will put in the email that it’s urgent but this “doctor” can’t even find five mins to call back her ”emergency patient” who now has 16-18 (cant remember) stitches in her wrist and can’r move fingers normally

i’m going to leave this psych hospital i’ve been found to since my senior year of high school and find somewhere that actually gives a fuck if i live or d13

I'm with you here, although tbh all the theories just kinda wind back to Luna being a retard basket case anyway. I wouldn't even really be surprised if she was trying to make a little cut on the tattoo on purpose so that when she shows it off it forces people to look at the cut/scar.

Exactly! Although she's complained in the past about all the shit that comes up when you google her name so I think she's just given up at this point. I think one of the posters with more knowledge of the subject should answer this question, but I have read at several points in this thread that at some point, all that matters to a junkie is that they get some kind of buzz. It doesn't even have to be their preferred kind of buzz.

EDIT: That being said, I don't know about Lurch, but Luna seems to have a strong preference for downers. If it's not heroin/other opioids or benzos, it's shit like Ambien or Seroquel.
