The issue is seemingly with characters that are ostensibly minors. Levi is 6 (demon) years old. Onomachi Haruka is 17. Mahimahi is 15. Livers like Rindou Mikoto, Utako Suzuka, and Shirayuki Tomoe have not privated their stuff.
Similarly, Patra Suou, Yuzuki Choco and Ryugasaki Rene would be safe as the precaution doesn't apply to their character's age, but people like Nekomata Okayu (17), Himemori Luna (0), Tokoyami Towa (17) are kind of running the gauntlet.
To be fair, this is in response to Mashiro's channel being terminated, and it isn't necessarily the reason, but one would hope Cover have a finger on the pulse to say 'Alright, AC think that minors doing ASMR just got one of their channels shut down. I remember when Council came out the only two I didn't immediately write off were Kronii and Mumei. Mumei got incredibly repetitive and Kronii just because difficult to listen to like you said. I don't know about her before HL or anything so don't know if this is just a gimmick or if she was really just born without emotions in her voice.

Personally I don't get the notion that vtubers have to be a certain thing. At this point vtubing is a technology, not a genre. I'm not interested in politics-focused vtubers but I don't think it is fundamentally wrong to be one.
I get what you are saying but to be fair personally my issue stems from lefty politics being generally accepted as "the correct answer" so when a Vtuber spouts it they risk mostly nothing and only stand to gain notoriety among the media for doing so therefore its hard for me to believe that the vtuber in question genuinely believes what they spout and are not just doing it for clout
By contrast Pippa and any other seemingly right wing Vtuber risks EVERYTHING by associating with the right (twitter cancellation doxxing media condemnation etc.) which tells me they genuinely believe its important for them to spread that message (or in Pippas case just enjoy that kind of humor which is equally respectable) which I respect a helluva lot more than a left vtuber who risks at most their prolly already minimal right wing audience and can easily recoup that with the woke crowd via free media advertisement
Bottom line if being a political Vtuber on the left publicly held as much risk as being on the Right would I wouldn't have near as much disgust with them even if I did disagree with them politically
