In addition the cartels are in it for the long game. They've survived and made profits in America for a long time under the current system.. they're not stupid, China doesn't bode well for drug markets and it's more profitable long term to just keep things as they are. If they were wanting to destabilize us they'd have worked for the Russians back in the good ole days instead of funneling coke through the CIA. They have survived from America having a love affair with coke known as the 70s and 80s, through the US cracking down under Christian conservative politicians. They've figured out the best route is to play the long game and just invest in destabilizing things just enough that they can skirt the legal system while not enough to affect their profit streams.

As to the discussion on the Cartels and their relations with China, and if they would assist in destabilizing America. I have my opinions on the subject. However, whichever side you take on the subject, the idea that the idea isn't completely outside the realm of possibility, should be frightening.

My opinion? We know that the Cartels are getting their Fentanyl from China, and then smuggling it in. Fentanyl which killed Saint Floyd at such an inopportune time. Which in turn kicked off the 2020 riots. Deeply destabilizing was it not?

How much the Chinese State is involved in assisting the production of illicit drugs is unknown. So long as it is for foreign markets, they sure aren't gung-ho on cracking down on it. Let me put it to you this way: I am sure they wouldn't mind the US falling victim to its version of the Opium Wars.

On the Cartel side of things. They are always factoring in two things, risk and reward. They are taking over Mexico because the reward is high, and as of late, the risk is low. So the answer to if the Cartels would do a Mexico on the US is what is the risk, and what is the reward. A weakened US, and a China offering subsidizes might push the Cartels from a slow cancer, to a very, very, aggressive one. Particularly likely? No. But possible.

Either way, the Cartels are a growing National threat, and should be treated as such.

Her primary opponent has a ginornous lead over her in polling. Like 50 points or something ridiculous like that.

And how sweet it is that crybaby Kinzinger is retiring after getting cucked out of his district entirely.

She is currently polling horribly, but the Wyoming primary isn't until August.

I'm sure that her money from out of state Democrats and her finally putting Drumpf behind bars for January 6th will flip that around.
