Prison Letters (6/04/22) - New Chris Jail Letter - Chris Explains Soul Bonding and the Goddess Logs

Or better yet, the one where he doesn't go to the bar to meet Barb.

This.

Bob should have just said, "no," to karaoke.

Here's the issue, without the EPO, there'd be no legal basis for forcing Chris to leave that day.

Sort of. In cases of probable imminent harm, social services officers have a bit of leeway to act first and get permission second. Usually it's cases of Child Protective Services removing children from harmful situations, but in this case it's the 40 year old child who was the harmful situation.

It's a real shit show when this is abused.

I do agree though, on thinking about it further, that they probably did not issue it in advance. It would make it more likely that it was an officer-requested immediate EPO. This is provided for under § 19.2-152.8

I suspect they went in expecting to do nothing more than a lip service wellness check to shut the internet up. Once they saw the situation at 14BLC, they had an "oh shit" moment and called in for a verbal three day order just to get Chris the fuck out. Then, with more information in hand and having tried to reason with an uncooperative Barb, the extended six day official paper order was issued the next day.

And then they accumulated enough evidence (we still don't know what) to go ahead and arrest him anyways.

It's like everything with Chris: you start out all "WTF?" and then it only gets more horrifying the longer you look.

Do you think the day the cops came out,

Do we know it was police who did the initial wellness check? Usually it's a social services wellness officer (assuming Greene County is big enough to afford such a thing), and the police are only brought in if trouble is expected.

What am I saying? It's Chris. Of course trouble was expected.

who paid more attention to their career than the first wife

Or paid more attention to his wife than his career.

Sometimes you can't win.

Yes but there would be no guarantee that the result would be Chris.

It's Barb. Without Bob's genetic influence, the result could have been worse.

Let that thought rock you to sleep tonight.

Wasn't the theft the same day because Chris refused to stay a night in Sonchu and he was arrested the next day after Null reported the theft to the police?

They found Chris VERY quickly after Judas @Null reported the theft. I suspect the police were already looking for Chris for other reasons.

He DID spend a night in Sonchu after he was removed from 14BC and said he got almost no sleep because it was so uncomfortable. He got the motel room the next day, where he slept. He was then arrested the next day after that.

You're not that guy, that's perfectly fair.

I'm trying to find more information. Here's the issue, without the EPO, there'd be no legal basis for forcing Chris to leave that day.

EDIT: To clarify, there is always a magistrate on duty. The officer calls the magistrate and gets the EPO issued -- this can be done extremely quickly.

EDIT 2: The EPO is for three days, but if the officer feels the victim can't speak for themselves because of mental impairment, he can ask for an immediate three day extension, for a total of six days.

If this the sort of thing they have a quick fill in the blanks form for? I.e Name, Officers name, Protectee's name, Adrress, reason, conformation of facts etc they they can send over and get a rubber stamp on? Here in the UK they do but the officer signing it and his senior can request one is signed there and then by a available officer of the court and can stand guard until it's signed - at leas that's my understanding of it.

Do you think the day the cops came out, and didn't just go away like before, instead hauling Barb off made Chris just not want to hang around the house because he knew they'd be after him? Like not exactly running away, but just not "being there". Chris has a history of skedaddling right before he gets into trouble, and who knows what he was thinking at the time other than "I don't want to be here when they come back".

I'm not sure how bad it would have had to be given how 14BC is essentially Chris's sanctuary. Nothing short of a court order or something with enough weight that even a dent head like Chris could comprehend he had to get the fuck out of that house.

I was under the impression he did it the same day but @Pointless Sperg said -

Chris can't stand discomfort he's never felt it in his life, he's never been hungry, slept in less than what he deems as a comfortable bed so I am shocked that he waited 24 hours to do it and tried at least a night in the car, before saying nope this is intolerable and helped himself to Hotel and Toy money - mostly toy money.

I've never been homeless but I've slept in some weird places, back of a van, in my landrover, on bails or hay (a over rated experience), even on a anvil once when I wasn't well and sat my arse down for a moment that turned into 3 hours, and even a Travel Lodge once, non of them I've ever really done through choice but necessity It's not pleasant it's not comfortable or ideal but the back of the minivan Chris had was better than what I've done and he knew he was getting more money than he's ever seen before dropped into his bank account the next day, but he had to in his words "Have comfort and safety NOW" his focus was on comfort first, that's why after getting the room he decided to get himself some toys over some basic necessity like cloths he might have been missing, personal care stuff, or even food - He wanted a Bed, a TV and Toys as his primary concern and was more concerned about the toys left behind in the bedroom than what he was being charged with in court.

Oddly I want to know what he thinks happened to those toys he got, and if he will try and go back for them at some point and chimp out when they said they where thrown out.

I would assume he's already asked his lawyer about it and the lawyer told him that shit likely is gone, or was simply taken and dumped at 14BC with the rest of his junk at the same time they dealt with the van.

Chris, of course, probably thinks the hotel staff are thus bastards and possibly even just sold his shit on eBay like the hotel manager in the Toy Story Halloween short.

on bails or hay
The problem is you sleep on bales of hay. Which is tightly packed and hard. You gotta sleep in a pile of the stuff that's loose and soft and preferably covered by a sheet of burlap or a sturdy enough blanket.

But back to the task at hand which is our bird brain of Alcatraz know as Chris Chan.
He probably completely forgot about them by this point.
He won't forget, toys and trinkets are the only thing he has left in life.

The initial EPO can be oral. They just call the magistrate and get them to okay it. It's meant to be super fast so they can separate the abuser from their victims as quickly as possible.

Don't be sure. Chris has/had a LOT of toys and I wouldn't surprise me if he couldn't name more than his few favorite. Much like we haven't heard him drone on about ponies or anything else since he got to jail, he hasn't said one word about any toys he misses or really wants. I think it's just because he's a tard and can't formulate anything other then what he's exposed to right now.

I really appreciate this comment. I sincerely thank you for it. I think that Chris, despite his issues, saw my sincerity and appreciated it. At least, I hope that's what happened. I might check up on him with another letter to make sure he isn't totally off the rails with no one but weens talking to him.
I appreciate the sentiment but he's totally off the rails regardless of who does or doesn't talk to him.

I'll try to pen a letter to him tonight, since I have the free time to do so. I'm very thankful for all of your comments and contributions, it means a lot. Hopefully there will somehow be a good ending to Chris' story. Though incredibly unlikely and uncharacteristic, with the amount of twists and turns this tale has taken already, weirder things could certainly happen (and likely will happen).

Edit: The letter has been sent. Here's hoping he receives it.

I have to wonder how Chris will feel if he ever gets back on the internet and realizes you're a kiwi and he was pen pals with someone sending insider information directly to the farms. He may change the Judas label from null to you spamtom.

I don't think so. I addressed myself as such when I first wrote to him, as someone who was here to deliver info from him to everyone else. I wouldn't lie to the man. I have no reason to be dishonest about my intentions. I do want what's best for Chris, but that means that he needs to start looking out for himself as well and not give into the weens and his severe delusions. So, if he ever reads this, I hope he knows that I am looking out for him at the end of the day. We should be informed about his situation, as it's partially for his own good that there's at least one person who can ensure he doesn't go off the deep end.

P.S. Augusta Maine is a beautiful place. I love that state man

Yawn, what a tedious saga this is.
Yeah well, it’s not going to be a prison drama like Oz.

As fun as the speculation is of Chris having to survive in a Supermax with gang bangers, white power Nazis, mob members and the other assorted characters of dangerous murderers, rapists and violent offenders, it won’t come to pass.

He will pass whatever time, then once they decide what to do with him he will be back on the internet as soon as he can be.

It will either be amazing cringe fun or just as boring because he ends up in some form of supervised care.

You're probably one of the few people to ever be involved in Chris's life that actively tries working with him specifically to try and help him actually improve his life as opposed to some ulterior motive. You're a far better human than most, Spamton.

Yeah, but that's usually how things go. It's easy to forget that between all the major incidents in Chris's life, there have been long-ass stretches of boring nothingness. Like how for months Chris was just being dull and droning on and on about how much he hated Sonic having blue arms, to the point even his hillariously incompetent vandalism campaign wasn't interesting (except for the times when it failed, like when he bitched about how he couldn't shove his shitty color-printed MS 'warning' labels inside the covers of games that were inside a locked security case).

And then out of the blue suddenly Chris maces a guy and ends up in prison.

With the jail saga, it wasn't long ago that we did get his mugshot from his return to the lockup after his stay at the mental hospital and you can just tell that reality has been playing Kick the Autistic with his sorry ass, which is even funnier when you compare it to the original mugshot on his arrest and he's got that dumb-ass dopey smile. We'll get more content soon once we hit the end of July since unless charges are leveled Chris is going to be let go...though how much leash he's going to have remains to be seen as well.

Even if he did some act of terrorism and somehow wound up in Supermax, it would be an incredibly boring end to the story as in Supermax you are locked in solitary for 23 hours a day and even for the hour they let you out into the "outside" (concrete room with no roof) for exercise, the guards don't talk to you.

He would never encounter another prisoner Ever
