As noted by others, he hasn’t played against another person in the flesh in years. At some point, you gotta get used to the online tactics. If you’re dealing with lag, so are they.

This guy believes that neo geo abomination port of SF Super Turbo is the only “true” SF and it’s probably one of the most autistic, faggoty things about Phil. Yeah the guy lies, scams, and is a general piece of shit but to regress as far as he has in his patented game, it’s pathetic.

You’ve racked up CC debt over competing in these games with nothing to show for it and then you racked up more debt over mobile games that take no skill. There’s no lasting legacy of Phil Burnell. When he dies, everyone moves on including his dents.

It's just entitlement. That's all it is. He's been getting the 1MM tips steadily, so he got conditioned into getting them often so he ends up believing they belong to him. Why be grateful about something you think you are entitled to?

That's Phil's own narrative. Doody's entire point with it is that on slower days he primes the donations. In an actual bar, this means you put like 5 bucks or something from your own wallet into the jar. For someone like Phil, he can and, according to the theory, just SAYS that 1MM tipped without having to put his own money into Paypal because he controls what the leaderboard says. The justification is that 1MM is an automatic payment to his Paypal directly instead of going through Stream Elements, which is why it never shows up.
If someone gets his bank leaks again we can determine whether or not 1MM exists by just comparing the numbers he says he gets vs the money he actually gets for any given day of a 1MM donation. If it's 25 bucks short, we know he's faking it.

I wouldn't give it any chance that even Detractors are the same, but Phil is a man who had a 500k Bankruptcy granted, almost accumulated 2mil over a 12 year beggacy and still, still was shit at finances, if Phil has to bump up the numbers post-Twitch, he has proven it with Gifted Memberships and the sock accounts on YouTube which YT has a very big problem with dead account access as well as not checking up on activity to warrant the account as is, and could possibly be spam, which I also see, it's rare admittedly, but still a problem

This. Phil can't even bother to preinstall games most of the time, there's no way he has the effort to fake tip himself every single stream. It also doesn't explain why he frequently tries to hide/delay the tip. Or why he'll round other tips down. Phil is egotistical, true, but his greed is always greater than his ego. He's said before that he worries people will stop donating when they hit the goal because they think just because he hit the goal he's fine and doesn't need anymore money. And one of his favorite begging tactics is claiming something is the lowest contributed stream for the 7th time that week. We also know Phil has paypigs who are afraid of being doxed and either use fake names/try to go around the system.

I'd play devils advocate, but the only real supporting argument for it being Phil is Phil is egotistical. Or sometimes suggesting Phil thinks it'll get the tips started like some street performers do by putting out a few tips. But in those situations it's more about showing you can tip. Phil isn't exactly lacking in indicators with his on screen goal, constant begging and tweets.

There's literally never been any evidence that 1MM has ever tipped except phil saying he received a tip from him, there's no pop ups or anything to have to even fake. The theory isn't so much that he's fake tipping himself, its more like him just saying "I received a 25 dollar tip from one minute man" and adding that amount to the leaderboard. There isnt actually any money involved or anything to even fake. He just has to claim he got the tip and thats it.

I'm not really sold either way, I still think there's a good possibility phil is making up the 1MM tips but I just wanted to point out it seems like some people think the effort required from phil to do his own fake tips is way more complicated than it really is. There's literally nothing more to it than phil saying he received the tip and adding it to his total.

Conversely 1MM being real doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
What’s he getting? He doesn’t hang out in the streams, doesn’t seem to watch them, has no interest in shoutouts. Even if PlanetDeadWife is rich, a standing order to a guy you don’t watch doesn’t make sense. I’m sure we can all name podcasters we loved that we’ve outgrown now.

Either theory (1MM being real or fake) doesn’t make sense to me but then we’re not dealing with rational people here.
