What does any of them get out of giving him money? Many of his biggest whales hardly ever leave a message with the tip or suggest anything or question how this is improving the stream. Of course you'd have the occassional "How's it going Phil", "Hope you're doing well", "Enjoying the stream" generic ass messages, but, even people with a toxic parasocial relationship will interact with the streamer in some way. They would want the attention. But not these big whales. They just drive by tip and dip. It's weird. It's a reach I know but I suspect something very shady going on that has nothing to do with the games or the stream or even door dash and gin. Maybe this is some form of laundering cover up lol.

On a side note, I believe 1MM is a real person that has given Phil a lumpsum of money to distribute throughout the month on a paypal recurring payment system. The theory of it being Phil is silly to me given that he doesn't also do this during the night stream as well? Why not start off the stream with the tithe? And the $25 has almost never encouraged people to tip more. Maybe that is the intent but the whales tip regardless.

Alright, specutarding here, and only because it's a mere tism moment to reply this isn't pure Gold evidence just a thought:

If DSP is willing to artificially up his own tips goal just enough to warrant or even close to a retarded tier reward of a piece of clothing and sunglasses, he is definitely willing to go that path, this is a ...
This is fine speculation and all as far as Phil adding fake tips to prime the goal. But there are a few literally suggesting he's processing it as a payment which there is no evidence of. There's no reason to believe it either. Personally I think it's all retarded as he's too lazy to do it when he needs it the most.

People like doody or whatever his name is are just newfags throwing shit at the wall to get attention. His titles are already dishonest often enough that I repeatedly tell YouTube to not suggest the videos. It's a one second affair edited into a 5+ minute video with intro and even then his titles are often a stretch from what the video actually shows. The Occam's razor is that a dent set up a reoccurring payment.
I just can't believe Phil would put his own money into his business on a daily basis.
At the very most he's just adding it to the total when it's not actually happening but even then this tip backfires on him by slowing tips sometimes do I don't even see reason to believe they're faked. But we are seeing in live time that his manual tip updating nonsense to hide shit pignosis detractors and dents alike, muddying the waters.

So dumb question, DSP knows that his precious Street Fighter 2 Turbo isn't in the collection coming out and he's going to have to crawl back to the 30th anniversary collection right?
Hyper Street Fighter II Anniversary Edition is the PS2 version and it basically is just Super Turbo, the only extras it has compared to regular Super Turbo is that you can choose a character's version from any of the 4 older Street Fighter 2 revisions, while regular Super Turbo only allowed you to select a character's Super Street Fighter 2's variation.

So we can expect him sperging about how in Super Turbo you can't do certain things and that's why he got bodied hard and they were just a dumb loser with bad internet abusing lag tactics. Got it.

I don't get where the idea he's sending money to himself is coming from. There's never a pop up for 1MM so he could just type whatever amount he wants on screen, so why go to the extra effort of paying himself?
The problem here is that Phil is doing what he's best at and he's using a lack of transparency to manipulate a situation in his favor.

Phil uses the lack of transparency with OMM's tips to manipulate when he reads them to maximize the benefits. We know this because Phil has changed the time when he reads OMM's tips in the past, and has given conflicting narratives to accommodate this. Phil has said OMM comes by on break to tip if the goal has not been hit. But this explanation does not accommodate the time that OMM started tipping before the break, nor does it account for the times when OMM tipped regardless of the tip goal. Nor does it account for Phil's new version of events where OMM just tips blindly every day and is never there. It also does not account for the time, when he initially switched to StreamElements, that SilentBob's tip came in after prestream and Phil mistakenly read it out then and had to admit the tips were coming Behind the Scenes.

I'm pretty sure what goes on is that this person tips Phil $25 every single day now, to the point that they likely have a standing order arranged. Piece has speculated that it comes on his day off as well, and I think there's no reason not to assume that at this point. Phil receives this tip early - likely by the end of prestream. He has then experimented with reading the tip at different times in order to use it to bait more money. He has concluded now that it's to his benefit that the tips goal appears low over break so that a whale may come by to help and see the tips are low. He then reads it after the break to put himself within shooting distance of the next goal in order to beg for that for the rest of the stream. He does use OMM's tip to try to bait other tips. Phil also sees little value in OMM's $25, not because it's fake, but because he expects it. We see this pattern with Phil constantly, where when given something (400 gifted subs on Twitch), he immediately adjusts his expectations to assume that will stay. His lack of interest in OMM is because he has that $25 no matter what, so he already sees that in his tip total even if it isn't written up there. But people see this and assume that Phil is just making up phantom money. It also doesn't help that it's difficult to believe anyone would do this to sustain a shitty streamer.

But I don't see any reason for Phil to completely fake the tip. Even if he's using it to try to bait more, Phil would never, never indicate he has more than he actually has. His entire existence is predicated on tricks trying to hide how much money he has/makes/has spent at any given point. He would not risk inflating the number. That tip goes up because OMM has probably asked him to put them up, and Phil is just trying to comply while using it to his advantage as much as possible. I cite the incident where (likely) OiC tipped under SilentBob and Phil lost his shit. The OMM whale is a protected class and Phil does not want to piss off a cash cow that is willing to support the scams.

I'm obviously autistically obsessed with OMM, but I do feel this scam and the arrangement with this whale is an extremely scummy operation that has been going on as it currently is for over a year. I'm absolutely certain there are two parties and real money, though. Always remember that Phil can end this at any point by telling OMM to tip through StreamElements for transparency. He deserves to be dogged by it, no matter what people are speculating.

Pretty much. Move didn't come out, lag tactics, couldn't block, he didn't earn it, the game gave him [SUPERIOR MOVE] so he won, the game gave me [INFERIOR MOVE] so I lost, he used scrub tactics, this wouldn't work offline in the real game, and so on. All of our "favorite" complaints he has will come back, only this time he'll add in bitching about rollback netcode and claiming that there's this grand conspiracy where some FGC illuminati apparently has so much money that they're somehow not only paying off paid shills sirs like maxdood into shilling for it but also companies into adopting rollback over delay-based, which is basically the unhinged shit he spouted yesterday about how rollback isn't better than delay-based netcode. All because he hates the Cannon brothers, who were the ones that invented it (namely Tony).

When dude gets a hate boner for someone, he just won't let it go will he....

That's why it's just mere speculation and not evidence pure

The sock accounts is probably one step of false metrics but that's because the Wheels are desperate to own us for some reason but they are spending more money...

Meh, still entertainment to me just to talk about it tbh, Doody is a clipper sure, but I enjoy his filters and especially the Old Dave look

Maybe this has been brought up already, but it's also interesting that it's always 1MM and always $25 now. When this person started making rounds last year, they went by a few different names as Peace's spreadsheets show, and it wasn't always $25 either. The amount given fluctuated and there were days this person did not tip.

I won't presume that the 1MM we have now is fake, but it  is suspicious.

Conversely 1MM being real doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
What’s he getting? He doesn’t hang out in the streams, doesn’t seem to watch them, has no interest in shoutouts. Even if PlanetDeadWife is rich, a standing order to a guy you don’t watch doesn’t make sense. I’m sure we can all name podcasters we loved that we’ve outgrown now.

Either theory (1MM being real or fake) doesn’t make sense to me but then we’re not dealing with rational people here.
PlanetJeff never talked in streams much. He did leave comments in his tips saying he's sticking it to the trolls and such, though.

It doesn't make sense, but a handful of these whales don't watch the streams and come calling when Phil does his beg tweets or sends out his beg emails/Discords.

People forget that we aren't joking when we call his supporters dents or wheelchairs. They aren't right in the head and this makes Phil's begging even worse. Taking government money from retards who's guardians aren't paying attention.

There's no way you can convince me Phil is spending his own money to tip himself. Even if it does result in an increase tips he still wouldn't do it. We have a history of over ten years now of him fighting tooth and nail to not do anything that could help his business no matter how easy or cheap it would be to implement. The issue I keep seeing is people trying to apply normal human logic to Phil, stop it. That's 25 dollars that could be spent on a pull, that's how he thinks.

I don't think anyone is saying that. He can literally completely fabricate it. There is NO money exchanged. He just says it happens. He updates the leadedboard with phantom money.

I'm not sure if 1MM is real or not but no one thinks he's sending money to himself and biting the transaction fee

Only part of that I find odd is that in Phil's warped mindset what's his is his, even in the non-physical sense. I can't imagine him playing dress up for a dime less than what he feels entitled to. He's at the point of nightly beg tweets and even a few videos a week begging for even more money. Things so blatant and shameless that the idea of a subtle phantom tip of $25 is kinda surreal.

There's literally never been any evidence that 1MM has ever tipped except phil saying he received a tip from him, there's no pop ups or anything to have to even fake.
1MM used to have pop-ups show up all the time when DSP was still on Twitch. At some point this retard apparently decided to send money through PayPal directly.

This 1MM discussion just shows how boring DSP has become. We already know his dumb takes on literally anything and the only real excitment was the reveal of the fat and ugly Kat (wasn't that nearly 50 pages alone?). We are basically sitting here waiting for Phil to do something stupid or some new leak. The bank leak last year was fantastic as it gave solid information to what a lot of use were speculating. I for one would like a Paypal leak or even a leak of his mails. Now THAT would be gold dust for months

That droopy mouth.
