Lord Coe says athletics will be following swimming

At this rate i wonder if the Bridges doc will even get an airing. Troons are getting fucked off out of everything and the reeing and screeching isn't that loud. What there is is just being ignored so Sandy is really wasting time and money. Nobody gives a shit about tenhead. Hardly anyone did before and even those who did now have permission, from above, not to.
Maybe she will drop Zach now, as he is yesterdays news, and start a new twitter account for a new thing with Zoe. This time she might get rid of the paper trail so this period of insanity doesn't follow her onto the next.

The particularly deafening silence is coming from any corporate sponsor in any sport. While the corporate world has been slapping rainbows on anything and everything this month, I don't hear any bike companies or shoe companies or TV networks or Clif Bars or anybody with two nickels to rub together saying shit to defend Bridges or Thomas. They know troons are box office poison, and if the whole conversation is over by the 2024 Olympics they'll pop the fuckin champagne.

You know, Troony McTroonface has been conspicuously quiet lately. I would have thought that he would be blowing up his twitter decrying all the "transphobes" in the sporting federations, since UCI, FINA (swimming) and World Athletics (track & field) have all come out in the last week with bans on, or proposals to ban troons in women's sports.

What do you guys think is the reason he's been so quiet on the topic? Narc rage at no longer being the world's premiere tranny sports cheat?
What’s great is that it’s going to retroactively wipe all his achievements out. The way the tide is turning, his “world champion” title will hold as much value as “Wifebeater of the Year.”
I think he's simply wounded when people disagree with him. Now it's gotten to the point that every single thing he posts gets shit. Here look at the replies to his pickle post:

No friends jumped in to back him up. Fatrick is down for Twitter war but at least he has friends. Rhys is all alone, it makes perfect sense he would keep to himself. Probably the smartest thing he's ever done.
Not to shitpost, but honestly, I think the lack of support is in large part because he’s so goddamn fat these days. When he was in shape, the fiction that he won fair and square was easier to maintain.

They didn’t give a shit about LGBT in the first place.

I have also noticed the deafening silence. I know that internet comments by themselves don't mean much, that's just who's loudest, but the many positive comments about the bans have gotten almost zero pushback on any platform. The only ones reeing are the TRAs themselves, and a few scattered GAMPs and handmaidens. The greater liberal crowd is just quietly ignoring it.

Some of us are also a bit worried by the FINA decision. What will mommy munchausen do now when her son is a good swimmer? He has to finish transitioning by age 12 if he wants to smash female records down the track. Tick-tock!
Puberty blocking drugs are actually mainly used for cancer patients. They cause brittle bones among other things. These castrated boys won't smash any record because they have to deal with the various side effects of the drugs. Bone pain & bone thinning, autoimmune diseases, teeth falling out etc. are no joke.

That’s one of my concerns. It’s child abuse. The current narrative is that puberty blockers are “fully reversible”, so the pressure will be on to use them if in any doubt about a child’s “gender”. Every second child will probably be in the so-called “doubting” category soon, given what is being taught in schools.

On the other hand, some boys are almost through puberty before age 12, and FINA’s “whichever is later” stipulation would still allow these boys to invade female sports provided they are plonked onto the troon chemical train at 11 years and 364 days.

Why FINA couldn’t just say “no” is just incomprehensible to me.

There was one kid who talked about his puberty blocker experience and apparently it also means your lungs don't develop. So a trooned out boy would have a low lung capacity and be completely uncompetitive.

I think part of the reason there's no pushback is because sports fans aren't necessarily the liberal twitter crowd.

I mentioned this in the sideshow thread, but I think the reason has something to do with trying to fend off legal challenges. If they come right out and ban transwomen outright it will be easier to sue on discrimination grounds, so they had to make it some impossible challenge instead. Or something like that.

I'm not celebrating until everybody is openly saying that men are not women. The troons will find a way to use this to hurt women and girls. This is not a victory, it's a momentary reprieve.

Apparently Rhys didn't join Cycling BC until after the Snowman Dox. The Great Trans Cyclist didn't even join until he decided to run for the board. Troons, this is your champion.

Reminds me of PhilosophyTube (and many other troons, tbh). Narcissistic, failed men who troon out and feel entitled to praise, leadership positions, and celebrity status. Imagine the arrogance you would need to join an established organization and expect to be rocketed up to the board of directors just a few months later, lol.

It's not impossible, though, in fact it's nearly inevitable with garbage like the Jazz Jennings circus being pushed so hard.

Oooh I hope someone attends and gives us the tea.

Trooning out a kid that young isn’t impossible, but trooning out a kid that young and having them become an elite swimmer probably is.

I did speculate in another thread that other countries might try, though. But FINA probably figured that this buys them 10 years or so, and it will be someone else’s problem by then.

That's why you'd pick a kid already going that direction then troon them out at the absolute last minute allowed, and then they would be a brave and beautiful trans athlete before the troons drugs fucked their shit up.

Even if the troonage started at the last minute the kid would most likely be a minimum of 4-8 years on the drugs before there would be a shot at the olympics, for example, and i think even 4 years will be enough to turn them into brittle boned weedlings, with other performance handicaps, so chances of getting to the top would be unlikely anyhow.
There should really be a blanket ban, and non of this age bullshit, to protect kids from abusive parents and sports orgs who will do whatever it takes to get thier 15mins. Tbh; the next positive step all these sporting orgs should take is introduce a minimum age. Maybe they could all agree on an age, or maybe it should vary across sports depending on how hard the sport is on the body and hours required to get to the top. Gymnastics, for one, needs an overhaul from top to bottom and jail time for alot of people.

Here we go! Of course he couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Trans athlete Ivy slams FINA policy as 'unscientific'
By Shrivathsa Sridhar

BENGALURU, June 21 (Reuters) - Transgender cyclist Veronica Ivy questioned the move by swimming's governing body FINA to restrict the participation of trans athletes in elite women's competitions, telling Reuters that there had not been enough research to guide such decisions.

Ivy also criticised FINA's plans to explore an "open" category as part of its policy that was passed following a vote at its extraordinary general congress on Sunday, saying such a move does not show respect to trans athletes.

FINA's decision, the strictest by any Olympic sports body, came after members heard a report from a transgender task force comprising medical, legal and sports figures. read more

The new eligibility policy for FINA competitions states that male-to-female transgender athletes are eligible to compete only if "they have not experienced any part of male puberty beyond Tanner Stage 2 (of puberty) or before age 12, whichever is later."

Canadian Ivy, who in 2018 became the first transgender UCI masters world track cycling champion by winning in the women's 35-44 years category, described FINA's policy as "unscientific".

"There hasn't been a single peer-reviewed study on trans women competitive swimmers to show that there's any competitive advantage for transitioning post puberty," Ivy said.

"So to single out puberty as the break-off point isn't based on any evidence, it's not based on them seeing an advantage for trans women, they have only looked at cisgender male athletes compared to cisgender female athletes.

"That's not how this works. When you're trying to single out trans women, you need to study trans women athletes... FINA has not done that."

With the world championships currently taking place in Budapest, FINA was not immediately available for comment.

But FINA's contention that trans women athletes retain some physical advantages despite testosterone suppression after going through male puberty has been backed by a study from Joanna Harper, a doctoral researcher at Loughborough University.

That paper concluded "strength may be well preserved" in trans women during the first three years of hormone therapy.

'MEANINGFUL COMPETITION'
"It's reasonable to put restrictions on trans women in international level sports competitions," Harper said, adding she was disappointed but not surprised by FINA's policy.

"Restricting participation to only those trans women who have never experienced male puberty is not necessary to ensure meaningful competition for all women.

"In terms of the open category, I'm sceptical, but I'll reserve judgment until I see the finished product. Will there be Olympic medals in swimming in the open category? Will swimmers in that category be able to earn a living as professionals?"

The debate surrounding trans women athletes has intensified after University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas became the first transgender NCAA champion in Division I history after winning the women's 500-yard freestyle this year.

Ivy said that FINA's decision was likely because of Thomas, who has not won a world title or participated in the Olympics.

"In the United States trans people are under attack... People trying to outlaw treatments and access to healthcare and sport... politicians calling for us to be murdered," she said.

"That's the context in which we see something like this."

Harper said it was important for sports bodies to continue collecting data.

"I'd suggest that whatever decisions they make today, they review them regularly and hopefully, as more and better data is published, they make better policies," Harper said.
