The devils advocate side of this argument is that if everyone fucks off from public school, then of course it'll be underfunded and shitty - But it doesn't really hold up that public school can't work with their current revenues, but private schools work just fine off the vouchers.

Imagine being so far up the public school system's ass that you think, "If nobody wants public schools, how will the government continue to pay for it?" is a game-winning argument. I mean, I know people do, it just boggles my mind.

We should just not have public schools for the same reason we don't have public grocery stores. Give the blacks free money to send their kids to whatever scam shithole schools will take the money, same as with food and housing.

And in related stuff Youtube is on the verge of shutting down Richard Baris' youtube channel because he has other people come on quoting Steve Bannon, just as Baris starts showing how fucked the left is (and pointing out Desantis doesn't have strong cross country appeal), prrrrettttty convenient:

So apparently Joe thinks taunting the CEO of Chevron is going to get Chevron to magically increase refining capacity

The cajolery of this administration is so inept

When Trump would want something he would say "this is bullshit I'm unhappy, let's make a deal that makes us both happy"

Joe wants something he says "this is bullshit im unhappy fuck you. now do what I want. Fuck you"

Not hard to understand how by the end of his first two years Trump had got done significant economic deals with other countries and American businesses and Joe has got done jack shit

I mean, he basically won the election with the message, "If you think the government should work for you instead of foreigners, fuck you. Now vote for me. Fuck you."

I mean even beforer Biden became President he was acting that way

Will people with no kids be allowed to choose which schools get their tax portion? If my friends and neighbors are sending their kids to a particular private school and get to choose for their tax dollars to support it, would I get to do the same?
If it were me I'd say that you have to have kids if you want to choose which school your taxes go to.

All the anti-voucher people with no kids can take pride in knowing their taxes are going to public schools like they always wanted. Anyone who disagrees can have kids or do some "creative accounting".

Which is that we would be dealing with evil all the same, it is just those who wish to do harm would instead hide their actions behind the authority of the Church, as opposed to the authority of the Government. We would still be getting news of said evil, but the outfits would be different.
I don't believe that Church/spirituality would magically make evil go away, especially from Government though.

Your normal average joes might have a little restraint from being degenerates who openly lick asshole and revel in being as big of an asshole as possible, though.

By that logic we might as well not have any laws or procedures, someone is just going to break them anyways.

The reaction is supposed to be so severe that people don’t even think about trying the same bullshit twice. Hence why the cities with these shitty DAs have such high crime rates. If you’re not going to be prosecuted, why not just go crazy? If a man is jailed for shooting you when you break into his house, why not do it? You’ll still win, either you get away with the crime, or he’s going to be treated as a murderer.

The other side not playing by the rules is what made things fall apart. So now we’re probably going to see an overcompensation soon.

You missed my point. Which is that we would be dealing with evil all the same, it is just those who wish to do harm would instead hide their actions behind the authority of the Church, as opposed to the authority of the Government. We would still be getting news of said evil, but the outfits would be different.
Why is the teacher's union complaining about religious schools getting money when their profile picture is a religious symbol?

Don't give anyone anything. Let people figure out how to fund their kids' education. The U.S. needs to rediscover and reaffirm the "sink or swim" ethos. And if most people sink, then so be it. The nation will be better off for it.

He took losses but overall he seems to have gained a lot of territory and population to offset them. I'm not sure if it really went as badly as it seems.
The bulk of the Russian military has been gutted to the point they're sending in one-off Cold War experiments from the training schools to make up for tank losses, lines have barely shifted since the initial invasion months ago, and any territory he seizes will have been bombed to rubble Chechnya style, and as a result nearly worthless without massive investment in rebuilding. The only way its been going "well" for Russia or even "not terribly" is if people treat them as a second-rate power as opposed to the global contender everyone was acting like they were prior. Considering most people, me included, thought this would be over in less than a week, they're definitely doing terribly.

Oh, and Russia's primary industrial export good, armaments, is looking in an increasingly shaky position, much like it did after Desert Storm. Except the Russians are going to have to somehow set up their own thermal optic and chip production lines despite the only supplier for the basic necessary production equipment being based in the Netherlands, and somehow I don't think the sanctions are going to ease no matter what happens. Public opinion even in Western Europe is shockingly anti-Russia, no matter how cowardly and weak the leadership is. Turns out banging the "Russia bad" drum for years has consequences when all you want to is suck on Putin's oil straw and huff his gases.

White people will never put up with just not giving blacks things and expecting them to figure out how to be functional citizens.

The only reason anybody acted like Russia was some kind of global superpower was to drive anti-Trump hysterics or gin up support for a Syria invasion. Everyone who knows shit from shoeshine knows that Russia's ability to project power far beyond its own borders is nil.

I'm seeing rumors Joe is going to direct the FDA to cut the allowed amount of nicotine in cigarettes to a "non- addictive" level.
Anyone else seen this? I'm not 100% its real
I not sure, but it's such a stupid idea there's a non-zero chance it might not just be a rumor. I don't like cancer sticks, but the last time the government messed with an addiction we got Prohibition, and we all know how that went; Joe deciding he needs to add in the Wilson administration to all the Presidents he's mimicking is perfectly in character.

It's real. It's part of Biden's grand plan to cut cancer rates by half. Same reason his staffers had the grand idea to ban menthols. It's like they're trying to flip the black vote now.
