I wouldn’t give him too much credit do to his involvement with the Kundun fiasco.Man Eisner wasn't a bad guy after all
I agree after just coming back from the movie. The movie wasn't as shitty as I thought. But their are definitely some woke themes throughout it. But I was able to put that a side. At least I didn't want to claw my eyes out like when I watch Chip and Dale.Lightyear for all its faults is competently made and is enjoyable for a night out at the movies with the family. But boy, it really is a movie that can only be made during this current zeitgeist. Movies like this are going to look very dated in a few years and remind people of a weird time in cinema when the goal of basically every big studio film was to turn the white protagonist into a stubborn selfish pig that refused to listen to the women/minorities around him until the climax of the film. Look at Woody in Toy Story 4. Pretty much the same character beats, note for note.
Sometimes you become the very thing you hate. And I think anti wokies fall into that trap alot recently. Wokness is offer but becoming the opposite can lead to negative effects tooYeah I thought the dyke scene was going to be some sort of fulcrum that saved the galaxy or whatever, not just something that happens in the middle of a montage. This woke shit is obviously very gay, but the retards panicking about it are also gay. Both groups should make out in a children's cartoon.
Here's something else about the LGBTQWERTY movement that rubs me the wrong way lately.
And now I'm thinking of this, I'm sure they want that! Here's something else about the LGBTQWERTY movement that rubs me the wrong way lately.
It seems they have recently started to up the ante with implying that the straights are "going the way of the dinosaurs". It's very agist, first of all. Implying that anyone who's not down for gay in kid's shows is automatically old is just wrong. Many younger people, including the minorities they claim to respect so much, find it offensive. An opinion doesn't automatically mean "homophobe". Hell, maybe kids shows shouldn't bother showing kissing at all-- kids don't really want to see that, anyway.
Statements like this also imply that "the straights are going extinct"... or that what they really want to say is "the straights SHOULD go extinct".
I've seen many many gay dudes online imply that they are "more advanced" than the rest of us, or that gay sex is "more spiritual and enlightened" than straight sex. Keep in mind many of the "modern thinkers" of the left, transhumanists, believe normal sexual reproduction is "antiquated technology". Many of these men who promote this ideology are GAY. Look up the topic on YouTube, my point proves itself pretty quickly. These are the types who want artificial wombs and the like-- a world with nothing but gay men, femme boys and robots. They might stick up for a lesbian kiss in a movie, but they don't really give a fuck about lesbians in real life.
It' s like that accusation of "homophobia" is actually projection for these elite-tier gay types. They think the "straights" are frightful and revolting, they want the "straights" to go extinct, they've so phobic of straight people that they want straights to "go the way of the dinosaurs".
Remember entitled retards made that stupid "George Lucas raped our childhood" song while in glee that Disney now has Star Wars.
If that isn't enough, a lot of so-called homophobia and transphobia is common among other LGBT people as well. It's basically gays and trannies, kicking and punching down other gays and trannies. So no, the LGBT pride "cult", is not as sunshine and rainbows as wokescolds make it out to me. I see plenty of competition in that community, that is actually pretty damn frightful, if anything. Here's something else about the LGBTQWERTY movement that rubs me the wrong way lately.

So Disney in some hot water over a new marvel what if comic. This is too funny.

Is this a thing? I work for a big corporation that has literally 0 to do with tech. We're the most outdated company in our sector. For two fucking years the CEO has been prancing around saying that we're a tech company now while letting our products degrade.Disney have destroyed themselves and their last uptick of insanity from a business guy perspective is utterly baffling. I cannot understand how a company now marked as a "tech" company, would let its CEOs and staff operate so rashly.
What do you mean, "tech"? Is Disney really now being categorized as a tech company on, like, the stock exchange? So I think this happens due to investors, at first I thought it was due to them having to categorize but from what I know. Performing as a tech company removed the ire of being a legacy company. They could be an entertainment company but their goals are now based on goals e.g. 20 million subbed to Disney plus. The overall outcome of a "tech" company is about quantitive results along with market shares. Netflix however is an entertainment company, not a tech. I do not know why they decided to classify it like this.
The problem with being a tech company is that the investors are incredibly fickle and they like results. Also, their board seems very ill-informed because the tech bubble is not as fruitful anymore.
Shame if they're pulling that shit. What do you mean, "tech"? Is Disney really now being categorized as a tech company on, like, the stock exchange?
the problem is you start to get more sensitive and see it everywhere, even if you don't want to, and given current year assuming it's outright wokeshit usually isn't wrong. simply put that pandering works both ways, you can't push shit and not expect people NOT to like it or get annoyed by it since that shit is almost everywhere these days. that's what happens when "everything's political", people inadvertently react to it one way or another.Sometimes you become the very thing you hate. And I think anti wokies fall into that trap alot recently. Wokness is offer but becoming the opposite can lead to negative effects too
Tech companies are dime a dozen nowadays and if Disney is going that route it will forfeit its foothold on the entertainment market for years to come.So I think this happens due to investors, at first I thought it was due to them having to categorize but from what I know.
