Wikis, too. The old fashioned colossal text file guide is obsolete as hell now. GameFAQs added mini-wikis way too late, and there are still countless guides up there written by teenagers 20 years ago. GameFAQs doesn't really have much of a purpose anymore.
I disagree. It feels better to use a text guide for the game since you're still actually finding/doing something rather than literally copying what someone else is doing. But what do I know, I'm just a boomer.
Not to mention that Youtubers are incredibly obnoxious. And how many longplays do you ever see with timestamps?

I left LL in 2018, but even then I knew I had stayed too long. Troons had taken over absolutely everything, if they wanted a user gone the impotent mods found an excuse to remove them. New topics became a rarity, the topic list was nothing but circlejerk threads and troons treating the forum like their personal livejournal. It's really fucking sad, and i can only imagine how much fucking worse it must be now.
