Musk has seemingly chosen the sex of all his children (all boys) so how on earth is anyone (ie even just those with 100% no-questions non-shitposting legit reasons) meant to refer to this person? “Musk’s nth child now known as Vivian”?

Of course the whole point is to make it so people can’t refer to the material reality of the situation. Just as with Tony’s attempted policing of “AMAB/AFAB” and “biological women”, treating previous names as “deadnames”, and troons hiding or reinventing their personal histories. The standard way to measure bras for women doesn't work for male torsos because their ribcage is bigger.

Real women can get a reasonably accurate idea of what bra size they wear by measuring around the torso (green line) for the band size and around the fullest part of the bust (blue line) then using the difference to determine the cup size.

This doesn't work for men because it doesn't give an correct measurement of their actual breast tissue due to the torso being larger and shaped like an inverted triangle. They're going to automatically get an inflated value for their cup size and while that may give them gender euphoria, it doesn't mean their bras actually fit or that their breasts are anywhere near as large as they claim.

Also Tony we can see when you accidentally deflate your empty padded bra in your selfie fails.

Oh @AMHOLIO, my sweet summer child. People who have had their ovaries or testes removed cannot produce sex hormones in their own bodies anymore (or only the much reduced amount that is produced by other glands). Alongside the "feminising" or "masculinising" effects of cross-sex hormones for troons, sex hormones help regulate bodily functions beyond production of eggs or sperm. For instance, the menopause in women is caused by a drop in estrogen levels. Low testosterone in men (hypogonadism) can cause fatigue, anxiety and depression, reduced strength, excessive sweating and poor concentration.

Tony is already taking supplemental testosterone because he cannot now produce it himself. Even if Tony detransitions, he will likely have to take both testosterone and estrogen for the rest of his life because adult males need some small amount of estrogen, produced in the testes.

This shit right here is why there is a backlash. I think most people didn’t care when it was the odd bloke in a dress calling himself Michelle and otherwise not bothering anyone. But the troons went too far.

They demanded that everyone centre them. Their rights must trump everyone else’s. They demanded that people not only call them women, but pretend they are physically women, even in situations where it’s inappropriate (sports, prison, dating). They try to silence and vilify, disproportionally, anyone who even questions any of this, even those negatively affected. They demand the rights to things normal people don’t get - cosmetic surgery, medication, guaranteed sex. When they don’t get their own way, they throw a tantrum, threaten suicide and literally act like it’s the Holocaust.

Now, lest anyone should still be naive enough to think it’s about the freedom to live as your true self, they try to silence detransitioners. Why? It shouldn’t affect true trans people at all.

This is before we get on to the fact that many of the loudest voices would be dickheads whatever their gender status (like Tony). And that many of them, it’s pretty obvious, are just fetishists or mentally ill people (like Tony). And that we’re doing all this for a tiny minority that doesn’t actually need it.

It’s dictatorial. I think even fairly liberal people are realising that these people are not worth bending over backwards for. All the troons had to do was be reasonable, but they kept pushing. That’s where we are now.
