People talk about liking their normal voices often, but am I the only one who hears Kiki and thinks she sounds like a NY stereotype? Also I don't see people praising her normal voice, just hating her Kiara voice more. (I still like her speaking German though).


I would extend it to HL in general. It sucks Suisei had medical issues but holy fuck her actual voice is so much better. IIRC she even had some insecurity about her voice originally, I have no idea why, I think her voice is wonderful. Does anyone from the west actually like the cutesy anime voices girls do? Even in YouTube comments you see people talking about how deep voices Bae, Suisei, etc are all so much better.


That said I 100% understand why girls fake the voice since it helps protect their identity, but they all sound better naturally. Sorry Marine.

I feel like no one gives a shit about pets and if a vet fucks up surgery or even the after-care and the animal dies nothing really happens. I get she's pissed but I have a feeling that pursuing this wont get her anywhere. Just wasted money and at most a slap on the wrist to the vet. Basic bitch ass googling shows that its sorta possible to actually sue if you have slam dunk evidence that it was a fuckup on the vet's part, apparently you can also take it to smaller claims courts and get a quicker/cheaper settlement but who knows when it comes to what state she lives in

Where I am most vet surgeries are smaller independent/local services rather than being run by big companies who could bury it, so a lawsuit (and potential media coverage) over something like this would leave an impact. I'm not sure if it's like that elsewhere in the world though.

Same. I don't think I could name a chain of corpo vets, because I legit do not know of any that exist. Pet store chains may have like clinics, but not a full-blown vet.

That really did sort of take a left turn after bantering and laughing with chat for a few minutes. Started to get all empathetic and even gave an analogy about how she wouldn't like it if you started laughing if she appears in front of you naked. It was getting into a pretty serious mood.

Where I am vets will carry out painful surgery on animals that won't understand why they are in pain, just to milk money from owners trying to keep a dog/cat alive for a few months more. I blame the owners too, but vets have no problem selling medicine for health issues when an animal is clearly dying a slow death that can't be cured. But euthanasia isn't profitable enough. Fuck vets and I hope she wins.
