It happens in plastic surgery. Sometimes if the results are not as desired due to whatever reason, you can go back to the same surgeon for a revision. Plastic surgeons hate it because it can causes bad reviews and scares away business (dunno about troon butchers) but the reason why you would go back is because the surgeon knows whats under the hood because they did the work. Its in the doctors best interests to make the patient happy with the results. Also, revision surgeries can be more expensive than the initial and if you go back to the same surgeon you can usually get a steep discount whereas you would pay though the nose if you went to another one.

They probably charge for revisions due to, well I'm not sure what the word for it is but I'll call it "feature creep". Where a person goes in for a rhinoplasty and fillers, only to say after the surgery "ehhhh, maybe a bit more here, and here", so there's a second surgery that they're still not perfectly happy with so they want another, and another, and another... Until they have a Michael Jackson nose and Bogandoff cheeks.

With Troons this is even more likely, because not only are they coombrained idiots who want their "dream" anime vagina/yaoi penis, but also because there's a hell of a lot of nerves and important functional stuff down there, so it's just one more surgery until they get the depth/length they want, one more surgery until they can pee the way they want, one more surgery until sex is totally amazeballs and they get fantabulous orgasms. JUST. ONE. MORE. SURGERY.

This can happen with anyone who gets a penile prosthesis (implant). The term to search for is "erosion."
