I tend to stick to animated capeshit myself. Why the fuck would you do live action when animation is the objectively superior medium for this sort of thing? Plus with all the fake CGI effects you need to make capeshit work on the screen you're going to basically be watching a movie that's at least 50% animation anyway, only animated by computers.
Plus if we learned anything from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse it's that capeshit fans WILL plunk down good money to watch an animated movie, in theaters no less, and that they'll make a good deal of money. Into the Spider-verse cost $90 million to produce and made $375 million at the box office alone, nevermind the money from licensing it to streaming services and rentals.
Best thing is it's a lot cheaper to re-record audio dialogue than it is to reshoot, re-edit, and re-CGI a live action capeshit movie in case one of your actors goes insane, assaults people, and cause a scandal.
