Much like every other "culture war" issue going on right now, the Left has pushed their side beyond the scope of reason. "Transwomen are women" and "abolish the police" and whatnot. Abortion is the same. Instead of having any sort of reasonable debate about it, they've pushed the narrative that the ONLY possible reason to be anti-abortion is that you have to HATE WOMEN and that abortion is 100% just a "woman making a choice about her body" and nothing else. Zero room for nuance, zero room for discussion. This is what happens when you try to shove the Overton Window too far to the left. Reality snatches it back

And I'm pro-choice btw. I just am also very capable of understanding a pro-lifer's point of view because I'm not a brainwashed psychopath

There is this weird belief that women getting abortions are doing so frivolously, as if women want to go through the extensive emotional and physically exhausting process involved. Prolifers completely ignore the women get who abortions after being raped, when faced with health complications of the child, potential death of the mother due to childbirth, financial issues, etc. What has happened to society to reach a point where we allow sex pests to run rampant but cease protecting our sisters, our mothers, our wives, and daughters?

Pro-lifers don't care what happens to children and mothers after the child is born. They have this false sense if entitlement to control other's bodies. Prolifers are the same retards who circumcise their men, get the covid vaccine no questions asked, and dont donate to homeless. Simply hypocrites who further push western society towards degeneracy.

The abortion debate has been shitted up by pro-life and pro-choice dick heads and that is continuing to shape and inform the public into misconceptions.
The reversal of roe v wade isn't about denying abortions or making them illegal, it's about them being constitutionally protected. The federal government should have passed laws years ago defining and setting forth guidelines for abortions but they are too fucking lazy getting paid to be shills for corporate interests. Now maybe they will get off their asses before abortions does turn into a massive state's issue and stupid situations of people leaving state's for abortions and coming back to face consequences start to occur.
That collosally stupid Twitter take of "removing the right and delegating it to state legislation" is my biggest gripe with peoples lack of understanding. Constitutionally protected rights are still legislated rights, just because we say they are God given, doesn't mean God is here to enforce their status. But the US government is here, and it enforces those basic human rights. If this were the United States of Muslims, it would be a God given right to tie up niggers and fags and throw them off of roofs.
Abortions will eventually get themselves through congress and senate and there will be real laws defining when abortions are legal, when they aren't, and requiring states to recognize a standard. This should have happened after roe v wade.

EXACTLY!!! I'd have so much more respect for pro-choicers if they were honest. Just say "I want the right to kill my baby cuz I can't/don't want to take care of it." It's maddening talking to people who try to get around that fact. Tell me you want to kill a baby and we can talk about that.
