My opinions on the thread aside, it's kind of sad how the post where I said I 'left' the thread (which was my admittedly retarded way of saying I'd taken it off my watchlist and won't be visiting it regularly) was blown up as a two-page sperg-fest of me 'rage quitting'.
Yet no one mentioned that
my post before that on the same thread was me defending the thread and fucking RiverBear of all people regarding his role and motive in posting the Pomu doxx of a (probably) underage girl, and then said in no uncertain terms that I disagree with the notion that the active people in this thread inherently want to diddle children and are harmless autists I have no problem with. Ultimately kind of vindicating the point that people care more about the immediate drama than any actual discussion about the direction of the thread.
I think I'll leave it at that. Shit-flinging will continue to occur regardless of who is here (the birthday merch and Cover/EN 3D spergouts both happened in the last 3 days and I wasn't involved in either of them). But hey, if people become more conscious of how they conduct themselves and interact just to spite me, then maybe the needle of Null's doomsday clock for this thread may recline a few minutes and afford you some peace.
