I feel like this is a "monkey's paw" moment for the GOP tbqh. And that's without mentioning that the Christian Nationalist Right has ensured that their declining birth rates are going to be avalanched over by minorities.

They got rid of abortion, great. But I think they've honestly woken a great and terrible monster. There's tonnes of New York type elites and neolibs who probably figured overturning Roe was just a big rallying cry for the Right. You've also got the Democrats who promised to defend it all this time, failing to do so. So will this see a push to the Left from within the Democrats? The political fallout from this will be interesting to say the least.
