I like abortion from an eugenics point of view, it should be mandatory in many cases. If the child is going to be born as a sick mutant you shouldn't be able to bring more suffering into the world just for your moral brownie points.

Why does everyone forget that baby surrendering is a thing? If you don't want the baby you just pushed out you can just let the hospital know, or leave it in a safe baby drop box. Some states, you could abandon a child whenever you were sick of it, even if it was 12. There's no rule making you raise it, it's just harder to kill it before it's born in Red states now.

I mean, I would personally recommend this over infanticide, which seems to be what the average Kiwi leftie things is the only alternative, if only because suffocating your baby is more likely to lead to negative consequences to you than just legally abandoning it, but maybe you are running your life on hardmode rules and just need to make everything as difficult and dangerous to yourself as possible... so why not try a draino douche if you get pregnant? Literally commit suicide to own the right, that will really show them!

Because women are the same in all 50 states. If an abortion is at all justifiable, then there's no reason beyond poor governance for it to be legal in some states and not others. Plus once you're forcing people to go to other states for it, or denying multi-state hospital organizations from offering uniform services between the states, you're arguably getting into that whole interstate commerce thing that supposed to be handled by the national government.
