Reminder that Ian tried to put Dani's personal problems on Sam, like its his responsibility to fix her, yet when Sam does the same thing to Ian by saying he needs to deal with Anisa, it's horrible!!! And anisa is literally sitting there taking credit for the Tana Mongeau incident in the same room as Ethan Klein who kept saying the N word over and over in front of Ian.
Sam and Metokur are like these heavyweights that are so good at what they do, the entire platform has to remove them from the game. It's like changing the rules of basketball because Wilt Chamberlain is scoring 100 points.
What a mess this is, it's incredible. I don't have any high hopes anymore that he will do everything that was described here. I think this ship has sailed. The whole issue is that he "sold out" and showed that he is the exact same type of grifter in the likes of Klein and Piker. He's just like Jinx at this point, only going for the money and asspats from redditors. He legitimately thought that he would have "the control" during the filming sessions of the Sam documentary, and that alone is a testament of how nice and cozy he made himself in his ivory tower and detached himself from reality here. Sure, Sam /pol/sperged out on twitter and that was amazingly stupid, especially given in his position. But the Buzzfeed-vulture (he probably got laid off when this shit-heap of a site imploded and deservedly so) went out of his way and directly went to the head honcho at Time Warner. Sam was taught a hard lesson in how cut-throat the business is, politics just intensified it. It's no wonder he's mistrustful of "mainstream" people.
Both still have a solid fanbase, even if they're "not savory" for the higher-ups at Youtube. Yet they still recieve money from it. (Gym does but no idea about Sam and the MDE clip channels) Ian has what now? Redditors and nominal subscribers, who forgot or are too lazy to press the "un"subscribe button? If he goes through with the "answer" to Sam and the "Yoko Ono"-nickname, and by Allah he will fuck this up, this will be a lot worse than the failed documentary. The shit show that will be created from this will make Ian get another boost of activity, but not in the way that he intends.

I don't know if it's been talked about but I watched both Hyde's and Ian's documentaries in the order they came out and my impression after watching iDubbbz video was that Sam left some really good material on the cutting room floor to give iDubbbz some good, entertaining and exclusive parts for his video(one being the "Dani is an actress" reveal, it's odd how Sam's camera died juuust before that...). They're both entertainers(I know...) and doing that is a genuinely nice and friendly gesture.
They best part is nobody would buy it because how quickly the switched from being edgy to milquetoast and how hard they poo-pooed the content that made them what the were at the height of their relevancy and respect. Sellouts deserve what they get.

There are a contingent of diehards who will lap up whatever they put out no matter what. However, they have ruined their reputations with the majority of their old audiences because of how boring they got along with clinging to the cope of "maturing" out of their old content. Plus, the wider YouTube audience isn't going to watch them because they don't care about some washed up has-beens who haven't made anything worth a damn in 5 years.
