I'm not super into Phase but where do you get the idea that they had that line in the first place?

Pippa, Tenma, Nasa, and Yuri (though not originally in Phase) all have designs you can definitely call "loli." None are as overtly sexualized as Shiina but it still shouldn't be a surprise that things developed this way.

Well, there's the line. I don't see the designs of those other characters as inherently sexualized. It's hard to argue Shiina isn't, though. (And I'd argue Tenma isn't loli-like at all, though maybe I'm letting her characterization color how I see her artwork.)

Seems one of the mods crossposted part of my post here from the other thread, without providing the context.

This is in relation to the /pcg/ - Phase Connect General - thread on /vt/. In it, people have been causing drama because one of the newly premiered Gen 2 Talents is presumed to be a former indie named Shirara who A) accidentally let slip she has a boyfriend and poorly tried to cover it. And also B) got stalked/harrassed by autist who she treated with professional courtesy as he was a vTuber as well, but seemed that he 'developed feelings' for her. The context is they (autist and Shirara) would chat and be standard weeby back and forth, and both said 'flirty' things at points. He seemed to be the initial instigator of the flirting as well from evidence HE provided. But in that evidence as well is her saying to him (a direct quote) "I flirt furiously but romancing is off limits and I know you know that..."

This guy seemed to be a creep toward a few other vTubers in the indie scene as well.

So, anyways. With that out of the way, chatter about the new talent being Shirara showed up in /pcg/ and someone went "Oh look, Spooki (the autist/sexpest) is mentioning something about Shirara" and posted that screenshot.


However, if you check the icon in the screenshot above, you see the poster who is logged in is Spooki's alt Twitter account. Meaning the autist was drama posting about himself.


And that's the context behind mine and Wandering Lurker's post.

Surprised nobody's posted about this yet but there's been nontroversy involving two streamers from Hololive's first generation, blue shorkgirl Gawr Gura (the most subscribed to English vtuber currently, with over 4 million subs) and rapping reaper Calliope Mori.

Leading up to this, Calli, whose roommate is American but currently based in Japan, has come to the US and is meeting up with Gura in California. This post takes it from there:

Calli invited her sister and her sisters bf to the same place where she was bringing Gura to
Calli's sister and bf invited more people, they have a party
Gura does not want to be part of the party and goes to a separate room on her own
Calli streams from another room and tells people about the big party happening, that people are "tripping balls" and that Gura might be up some "shenanigans" in a separate room
People at the party posted photos and videos from the party, Schizos are able to locate these via Calli's sister
Callie says on stream that it's an AirBNB
Schizos start looking up AirBNBs in the area trying to identify which one it is
Based on Calli saying people are "tripping balls" schizos start reporting to the AirBNB owners and police about the drugs at the party
Schizos attempts fail and nothing really comes of it

that's about as much as we know for now and as neutrally as I can put it

While Calli probably should have put her foot down and kicked her sister and everyone else out if they were having a party that they shouldn't have (if she actually cared in the first place), Gura also could have just got a taxi or Uber to a hotel if she was really feeling uncomfortable at the house - it's not like she couldn't afford it.

Of course, the whole thing could have been avoided if Calli had just opted to not overshare the story on her stream in the first place, but I suppose she was just excited to talk about the fun she had with her friend that day.

The Rushia drama was funny because we had whales on suicide watch and I really thought that bitch was going to go nuclear on Cover.

Well, so far, even with a general location, photos, and video, the spergs haven't been able to correctly find the house yet (a supposed match had been posted to /vt/ but this was later proven to be fake). It makes me think that maybe the house isn't on AirBnB at all and was rented some other way like Vrbo or it's actually a hotel suite or something, though I'm not sure if oversharing reaper is smart enough to have intentionally planted that false lead.

Absolutely but she shouldn't have even brought her sister with her too, as that's where a lot of the issues seem to have started.

Gura may be a grown adult, yes, but she's very private compared to Mori who openly goes around as her non-vtuber persona. Gura retired hers years ago.

Why? Being private about your personal life in your Vtuber persona doesn't mean that Karen can't invite other people to hang out with. Being a Vtuber is not some sort of super secret illuminati shit. We don't know how Gura is IRL and who tf cares, it's a personal matter between them.

On top of that, posting screenshots of hotels and personal TikToks whilst simultaneously shouting 'Look what Karen has gave us the ability to do! She should be punished! Goomba might be in danger!' is very retarded and critically lacking in self-awareness. The prolonged discussion of Gura's want for privacy has brought it to the attention of more potential bad actors than Calli's stream alone ever could.
