Supreme Court protesters and their defenders explaining what is and what isn’t an insurrection:

I say they go for it. Would be more ballsy than doing the equivalent of screaming at clouds. It’s their full right to do so. More effective than burning down some small businesses in the name of “justice.”

Today's hereditary illness is tomorrow's evolutionary survival tool. As dumb as Star Trek 5(the search for whales) is it has a salient point. You have no idea what the future will hold and what species, or in this case collection of genes, will be needed in the future.
I don't know how eugenics has come up, but another aspect to consider is the practicality of determining and enforcing genetic ideals.

If someone was handed the reins in deciding who got to pass on their genes and who didn't, who does everyone think would be in charge of deciding? It would probably be the same social and intellectual elite class that hates the middle class.

Just imagine affirmative action, but applied to reproductive opportunity. Basically it would just hand those in power the keys to do what they'd already like to do.

Abortive pill can work up to 7 weeks of pregnancy, maybe more.
That's when most abortions happens.
You ban all abortions (which some states are doing right know) you ban mostly those.

Then you have several more weeks to abort the foetus by vacuuming it in a hospital. There's still no tweezers involved. They put a canula in the uterus and get the little egg out. There's still no horror tweezers involved, no taking a baby appart.

You have fallen for gross scare tactics.
I think there is just very little nuance in this discussion, you've got people who want to outlaw any form of abortion and then you have the feminists who think that you should be able to abort at any point for shits and giggles although they always say that abortion is a super heavy decision for all women.

I'd like to have a solution where abortion is possible for 6 weeks if there are valid but ordinary reasons like lack of money, lack of education, individually higher risks for fetus or mother, damaging lifestyle habits like a substance addiction or BPD, a lot of genetic disorders in the parents and so on.

And after that abortion only til 16 weeks and only if there are extraordinary reasons like rape, or additional risks/potential disorders that were no known before.

I'm Jewish. I think this is a good decision. Virtually all of the people I've spoken to both oppose this decision and are all gentiles. What does this mean for me?
What flavor of Jew are you because there are definitely Jews against this in the general sense...nominally Jewish, anyway. This congregation seems to me to Judaism what UU is to Christianity - fake and gay bullshit.

Hilarious thing is the law clearly states abortion is OK to save the life of the mother at any stage.

Yeah, right next to the right to marry multiple women at once.
Yeah but they're Utah Mormons so they're each on 5 different SSRIs.

I think you nailed that one. The Orthodox Union (a more moderate organization) is tepid on the Supreme Court decision because this is just the beginning of seeing which factors will determine the availability of abortion in the real world (state laws, mother's health, etc) and Agudath Israel (a right wing Orthodox org) is downright happy about it.

Fetuses aren't citizens and have no rights, ergo no murder is taking place. The health and safety if the mother is and always will be the priority in these situations. You can't be pro-life and pick and choose whose life matters more.
Give one good reason they shouldn't be considered citizens with rights.

And the mother's life doesn't come into the picture, it's rare for there to be deadly complications from pregnancy today and if their life is truly in danger then that's one exception most people are willing to tolerate.

But that's not what you're actually talking about, you just want whores to be absolved of responsibility via murder.

The next time a pro-abortion person demands to know if you support legal abortion, tell them "actually I support mandatory abortions".

You can hear the record scratch in their head as they try to figure out what went wrong.

Why is it a double homicide if you kill a pregnant woman then?
