Consider the aroma.

I will break this down for you all, since so many of you cucks don't seem to understand.

Abortions should only be considered when:

1) The child's life and/or the mother's life is at risk.
2) The child was conceived via rape or incest (which accounts for less than 1% of all abortions performed in the US)
3) The mother's mental health is in question, and in a way that would significantly hinder her ability to be a mother (and if that's the case, is she too mentally ill to consent to sex? If that's the case this classifies as rape as well)
4) The mother is underage

Reasons why you don't deserve to have an abortion:

1) You don't want the child, even though you're abled and perfectly sane. Regretting sex isn't an excuse to abort a child.
2) You were to dumb to use protection and contraceptives. Which are available in practically every chain store and pharmacy in America. (And if you absolutely did everything in your power to prevend the pregnancy and it still somehow lived, then maybe it deserves to live honest to god).
3) You want to sleep around like a hooker and you want abortions to only be available as an "oopsie."

Just because you all regret not paying for your girlfriends abortions doesn't mean babies don't have a right to a chance at life.

Pass us some of what you're smoking
Unlike places like Africa or China, we aren't dependent on one industry to keep the money coming in. We actually have market diversity.
Freedom of speech or press don't seem important when you're convinced you'll always and forever be on the politically-fashionable side of every issue.
That is the big cultural issue of the century is it?

Basic human rights like bodily autonomy shouldn't be an employment perk
By the way, you don't get to talk about 'women's rights' and 'bodily anatomy' when you talk about killing children like you did earlier in this thread. Our next generation comes first before any of us, and if you cant respect them, nobody should respect you.

I'm not in the US and the number of people here who seems to think abortion was banned is kinda pissing me off.
I'm in the US and it is really pissing me off, especially when having to explain to Europeans how our abortion laws were more progressive than most of Europe. It is really annoying having to debate someone from California who thinks they somehow lost a right.

2) The child was conceived via rape or incest (which accounts for less than 1% of all abortions performed in the US)
I agree with you on most of that, but rape babies shouldn't be killed for the crimes of another person either though. And there's a good chance the mother would regret getting one, whereas once the baby is born there's nothing to regret if you just give it up for adoption.

3) The mother's mental health is in question, and in a way that would significantly hinder her ability to be a mother (and if that's the case, is she too mentally ill to consent to sex? If that's the case this classifies as rape as well)
This doesn't seem like a very good reason to abort either, especially since it can be abused rather easily.

4) The mother is underage
A 17 year old can safely deliver a baby just like an 18 year old. It's probably more dangerous at younger ages, then it could probably be a legitimate medical concern.

The irony is that our abortion laws state by state are really similar to European abortion laws.

People forget our government is a FEDRAL government. Power to the people and all that shit.

The quickening isn't just something from that shitty Highlander sequel?

Not quite, they took the term and used for the shitty sequel but normally the quickening in regards to women being pregnant is when they can begin to feel the baby move around inside. Historically the quickening has been used often in the legal field to determine when a fetus gets the right to life, especially back around the 17th and 18th centuries.

In England some women who were sentenced to death would sometimes "plead the belly" saying they were pregnant to delay the execution, since if you killed a pregnant woman you would also be killing the baby and be guilty of homicide; over time the laws were adjusted so that the woman had to be in the quickening phase of pregnancy to be given a reprieve.

It is hilarious how many people I see now saying they will move to Canada because of this.

People think moving from the states will make their lives better even though the states arguably has the best Healthcare, Medicare, public schooling, and private sector job markets in the world.

Not that America is immune from criticism, it's just that unlike other countries we at least have a stable market and actual freedom of speech and press protections.
Lol no. Moving completely away from the West is best.

Westerners are like fish who are unaware of the existence of water. You have no idea how shitty your environment really is. “Best country in the world” is transparently ridiculous propaganda once you, you know, actually see how the rest of the world lives.
