Imagine the state mandating your child take hormones castrating them because of a quack doctor. Imagine someone putting a chip in your neck and when you do something they don't like it explodes.

THAT'S taking away bodily autonomy. You can still have unprotected sex, you can still take birth control and contraceptives, you still have access to coat hangers. The only difference now is before you could turn off your brain and have no responsibility for your actions. Now you can't be a brainlet and let your animal instincts control you. If you can't control yourself from having sex or fall prey to your emotional impulses, in my opinion you never had bodily autonomy in the first place.

That seems rather overstated. Contraceptives (of varying degrees of efficacy) have been used for thousands of years.

People may have been more prepared for the consequences of sex, but that doesn't mean they didn't attempt to avoid pregnancy and decouple sex and child-bearing just as modern people do.

We’re not murderers. That always seems to be the pro life go-to line. I once had to order my 4 year old Husky Pitt put down due to Pyometra. I’m still not right even after all these years. Does that mean I should have PITA protesters calling me a murderer?

I don’t want to sperg but I encourage you to listen to people’s stories. There isn’t this “Hey I’m 8 months pregnant, I’m not feeling it anymore, let’s abort.”

Just playing devil's advocate here, but what do you all think about forcing a young child to give birth? Ex. A 13 year old is pregnant through rape. A really extreme case I know, but it happens. What would be your solution to that problem? I have yet to see an in-depth answer on this. Not that there isn't one.

Abortion exceptions exsist for such cases. If they had to though, that’s the kind of thing adoption is for.
