3D Laplus looks really good like the rest of Holox but her long hair clipping through her coat (or rather the otherway around) is distracting. Plus the clipping from the oversized sleeves, but I expected this beforehand.
But it's funny that this von jp vtuber was mentioned not long before doing these real world vlog style videos and Laplus doing exactly the same thing during her 3D reveal. I wonder if the shops she visited paid Cover money for this kind of marketing.

I know the site's reputation, but this thread is its own separate microcosm. I'm sure there are many KF alum here who get off on seeing lolcows f things up, and all of us here probably share that a bit or we wouldn't be here. But I bet a lot of, if not a majority, actually found this thread separate from KF initially and actually enjoy and care about vtubers and the people behind them. I know some of you are just here for the drama and waiting from one yab to the next, but some here have genuine concern and would prefer NOT to have crap constantly blowing up. I enjoy a cute pic of and some insight into the roommates behind them, but don't want to actually see anyone get threatened or stalked, which stuff like Calli's crappy opsec could lead to.

I know and generally agree with you. I definitely don't want these ocurrences daily or even weekly or monthly. Constant yabs are exhausting. But that doesn't mean I won't find it amusing when this shit does happen occasionally.

This put the period to around early December, looking through her VODs, there doesn't seem to be any long breaks in that period, just her usual 2-3 days break after the end of her schedule.

Only thing I'm suspicious of is that one time she cancelled an MC stream with no specific reasoning, just to have a guerrilla MC stream many hours later, in which she appears very low in energy. Funny thing is that I actually lurked te hlgg thread (/vt/ did not exist yet) during that time to see what they thought about the situation. naturally there were a lot of rrats, but no mentions or even hints on any alleged doxxing that was happening.

Also going back to 3D reveal for La+. It's funny she did the entire thing pre-recorded. My favorite was the 15 minute segment of her touching grass with her 3D, truly kusa.

Had over 150k people watching. Was definitely a memorable one. Also, she is way better at singing than I remembered.

Imo she's one of the best performers of hololive she can sing, she can dance and she have a proper choreo

Poor Gura. I honestly feel bad with how schizo she is about potential leaks now. She can't even open a pause menu in a game without blocking the screen.

That psycho that doxxed her family must have really hit her hard. She straight up refused to save Skyrim for hours because she thought her PC info would show up as a save path or something.

You know, I was watching her on my other monitor while doing other stuff, not really paying attention. Her saying "only autosaving" did strike me as odd, but with that context now it all makes sense. I think someone on /lolcow/ found a family member's facebook with information not scrubbed on her, and found her dad's information. Fuck, that's gotta be rough.

Some of it is that, a lot of it would be far more subtle, e.g reviving/making a roommate account. For example what not-Moona/Iofi did is more along the lines of "keeping a fanbase if they leave" move.

yeah I just don't buy into that honestly. If on of calli's family members and the people around them is a danger to gura's "opsec" than Gura going out shopping all day in public with a recognizable Demondice Karen was already that risk. Everyones talking about how paranoid about her anonymity she is, so sure she'd have considered that right?

This is why folks keep making the point that Gura is an adult for. She's plenty able to look after herself and wasn't somehow put at greater risk of being exposed at Calli's home any more than she was wandering around in public all day with her. I'm actually curious how some of ya'll think these girls live that just being made to be in proximity to non-vtubers is some existential threat to their security.

TLDR, I don't think Gura's stupid, and I think Gura is plenty able to assess the risks of running about in public with a recognizable public figure, same if she goes around with Kiara as well. as far as the Instagram stuff goes, idk I'll buy that when there's some source on it other than just hearsay on /vt/, as of yet there's nothing other than someone saying it totally happened.

Depends on what the actual context of this 'yab' was and how severe you think it is, but Kiara is at least aware of the others in Myth wanting to keep their identities as hidden as possible. It's been a long time. I may have mixed two situations together. But regardless, my point was that the dox caused her current day paranoia.
