For years Phil has said he begs because the trolls ruined all his opportunities.
Then they turn around and call him a beggar which he says makes them hypocrites because they put him in that spot.
Now he gets a large offer from Keemstar to do some retarded project, and he turns it down for a bunch of autistic reasons while his trolls tell him to do it.

Pretty mindblowing turn of events. I think in his mind if he accepted Keemstar's offer it would be a confirmation that he is indeed a lolcow. To think his gin-addled ego got between him and fifty thousand dollars. Lunacy. He really does just plan to grind out the beggar's grift until the grave.

For example 50k could be put towards a retirement nest egg, or at least whatever's left after he handles some debt. He's 40 and was already left behind in the streaming game a decade ago, others would kill for such an opportunity. Classic Phil, no exit strategy whatsoever.

The 50k why/why not argument is such a pointless one. On one hand Keemstar is a scum sucking piece of shit and Phil ignoring him (for the most part anyway) is the smartest thing he’s done in ages because one, why would you trust him after taking five minutes to read about his history and two even if he was telling the truth would you really believe he had your best interests at heart? And on the other we have Phil who has a long and documented history of not changing one thing about his life unless he’s backed into a corner as well as avoiding unfamiliar social situations. If Keem was genuine, Phil still would’ve never bitten, and if Phil was interested it is I think extremely likely that Keem would’ve misrepresented the deal in some significant way.

I don’t know if Keem has a thread here and I’m not bothering to check but as far as I’m concerned this was a bona fide cow crossover with two retards grabbing their shriveled nuts at one another on the internet and if I was here for that I’d be posting in the Gunt thread.

I disagree. It would be the first "mature" thing Phil had actually done with his life. To put his ego aside and swallow his pride and take an opportunity to actually do some work for a decent amount of money.

But Phil is immature and too much of a narcissist to take advantage of this opportunity.

Bear in mind the 50k was just a sign on bonus. I'd imagine there would be a cut of the marketing/promo/views along the way. It actually seems like a legit opportunity.

If Phil were smart he would call or message Keem and apologize and say "Dan, I'm sorry. I lost my cool and got worked up because I misunderstood the situation - can we chat more about the opportunity?"

But Phil isn't smart so...

I watch a variety of FGC streamers who play games I play, I see something impressive I'll try to emulate it. It's a fun way to learn combo routes or random things for characters. In all honestly I've never seen a single thing that DSP has done in any fighting game that even made me raise an eyebrow or pay attention

I think the whole boxing angle with lolcows is the wrong approach. None of these grifiting faggots are going to fight, sans Warski. It has to be something that is simple, but still requires exertion. I propose a stair-climbing competition. Preferrably a stairwell inside a high rise. Let's see who makes it to the top first or gases out.

I'd say his real reason for rejecting it is the idea of someone else being his boss. Granted, even back in the day he technically was an employee of Machinima, curse, and even twitch, but he had autonomy. These managers weren't directly telling him what he had to do each day. That autonomy is what his joke of a life is built around even to this day. And I've noticed the times when someone tries to tell him what to do and how pissy he gets when it happens. E.g. the Machinima incident when he Karen'd out because he was asked to not try to report to someone above who he was talking to. And while I'm not able to find it through PigPigGo anymore there was a clip of him going off on someone during one of his chill streams for MLB 2019 because they said his coverage of E3 was bad.

Found that clip now that I'm home. As they say, they hated Jesus for speaking the truth.
