I don't know if I would call what Phil had intelligence. Like he uses being his school's valedictorian as a prove of intelligence. However plenty of idiots can get good grades especially in K through 12th grade because a lot of school doesn't require critical thinking or problem solving.

Which shows why video games and
life in general is so hard for him. It requires thinking through problems and at times trying new things to find a solution. Phil isn't capable of that kind of critical thinking if he even thinks at all.

Why would he openly admit he turned down $50K when his whole schtick is that he never has enough money? Zero self-awareness. I think even a retard wage slave like Jaxx or Slayer could formulate a thought process like "guy offered lot of money, why he need my help?"

He was left in a no win scenario. Either deny the money, showing he wasn't as broke as he claims or take it and be held accountable to someone he hates. And it wasn't as though he could hide it, since Keem opened with a 50k offer and had no reason to keep quiet about the results.

Besides, why are we expecting any kind of logic from the whales? They're like their master, don't even bother to put in the effort to think.
