Even if my parents were loyal CNN/MSNBC viewers I wouldn't go behind their back to limit their channels. Coddling yourself and censoring your own internet content deliberately is a new level of pathetic that only Resetera could cultivate.

There was a line in a song by the National that went "I read the foreign news to understand my nation" which always stuck with me. It's of course about echo chambers, perception, perspective. Even if it infuriates you or boils your blood, it's always at least interesting and potentially challenging to at the very least glance at alternative editorial sources. Limiting yourself to your preferred outlets is going to create an annoying, spiteful little cunt like the one detuning his parent's cable box.

I remember a comic or sketch or something where a guy put nanny software on his computer for his five year old and found out he liked the internet better because it blocked everything but like cat pictures and stuff. I guarantee you she is one of those super light skinned black ladies who have to make up for their lack of blackness by being overly woke and larping as a ghetto. Probably a quadroon that has the same skin tone as a southern Italian if not lighter.
