Lindsay's return to the public eye via VidCon and the NBC article made no impact on the cultural landscape. Her Patreon didn't increase more than usual, the subreddit studiously avoided being too parasocially invested in the fact she had a kid (despite the fact she did look preg af in the last It's Lit video) and even Twitter has barely managed any performative outrage/genuflection. But there were some gems:

I don't mean to gatekeep, but as the close relative of someone disabled from Combat-Related PTSD, I really wish Lindsay would pretend to have some other mental illness.

Presumably the therapists Lindsay mentioned in the article (the ones who weren't "certified in twitter BS") told her PTSD isn't crying hysterically whenever leopards-eat-your-face at Youtuber conventions. Heck, they probably laughed in her face for being such an emotionally immature twat.

What a weird article. It felt like it was almost making fun of her. She must have been rude to the journalist interviewing her.

If Lindsay honestly thinks that she should have just apologized, she has truly learned nothing from what happened. Well, see, here's the problem with the premise in the first place: she didn't get fucking cancelled. She got ratio'ed. That's all.

Cancelled people don't have NBC News to run and cry to about how they've totally been cancelled and they certainly don't have perfect strangers to give them $20,000 a month on Patreon for doing nothing. Patreon, being staffed by a bunch of libshit cucks, will ban anyone with the 'wrong' opinions from trying to make money on their platform, as they've done to Hotwheels and many on the ideological 'right'. This hasn't happened to Lindsay.

2. I don't remember much about the Jews. I know Special Agent Sol Kaplan was Jewish and whassname Perfect Boyfriend resented him because he used to torture terrorists for the CIA years ago, but not much else.

3. Nah, the financial crisis was not averted. It happened prematurely because people found out the American government had kept secret that aliens existed for the past 40 years, and then the American government.....just sat and continued to not say anything. The wild speculation helped causes a recession which was already on the bring of happening due to the housing market bubble popping. This is supposedly why Cora doesn't just quit her dumb CIA translator job in the first place and fuck off to Starbucks where she'd get paid better: because she's convinced she won't even be able to get a job elsewhere with how bad the recession is.

Mask Off was published on April 15th, 2021.

She had her baby 6 weeks ago supposedly, so the baby was born around the middle of May 2022.

It takes 9 months for a pregnancy which means Lindsay would have conceived back in September 2021.

So no, she wasn't drinking while pregnant. At least for the Mask Off video.

The thing is that the first time Lindsay Ellis had a kid it was clearly a bit of a happy accident. If she'd stuck it through she would've probably eventually learned some valuable lessons about life and how a lot of times things that seem at first like the worst curses turn out to be the greatest blessings.

This time she clearly just had the kid because she knew she was getting older and was scared of her fading relevancy and ticking biological clock. Does anyone actually think this self absorbed cunt wants to bother being a mother?
She's going to use that girl as a doll to live through vicariously and unload all her unfulfilled expectations onto as a bitter withering alcoholic who believes she was unfairly deprived of her fame and fortune; the poor thing doesn't stand a chance of turning out functional.

It's kind of why I hate people using "childless" or "drying eggs" as an insult for aging women. Why would you encourage people to view birthing children as a way to prove something to the world?
