Costs are automatic (and generally modest).

Fees are only awarded in the case of misconduct or statutory fee shifting. There's definitely misconduct here, although I don't know if anyone has sent a Rule 11 warning letter, required before seeking fees under Rule 11.

I agree, I've worked in food service. It's demanding and thankless but it's hard work only in the sense that you do a lot through your work day and go home tired, not that it takes specialized knowledge to do it. It's a starter job for people who haven't built academic or vocational skills yet, and that's fine.

Exactly this. You are supposed to get more skilled and capable as you age in the job market. Stabbins was, is and will remain to be a down and out who cannot hack it anywhere. TBH I am glad he got fired. We've all had that one co-worker who never pulled their weight. Imagine that 1000 fold.

You'd have better luck persuading Gaben to release Half-Life 3 by a specific date than to have an appeals court force a district court to issue a ruling by a certain date. Federal Judges issue rulings whenever the hell they feel like it. The only hard deadline is the pre-trial date. And I'm just dumbfounded that he thinks that he can prevent the court from taking judicial notice on it's own.
