Nick's problem has been he's lazy and doesn't follow through. He's fortunate that he's stumbled into areas that have helped grow his channel (lolsuit, Vic, live commentary starting with Rittenhouse), but those have started as drunken finds or boasts, not some plan.

He has talked in the past about plans to grow the channel, and they fall through. He was going to clip more, he was gonna do shorts, he was gonna maintain his archives, he was going to keep doing his regular panels and guests (Chad dad, big brain, Drexel).

He comes off some of his biggest numbers with Depp and what does he follow it with? Maybe two late night episodes a week, and nada during the day. Multiple huge Supreme Court decisions come down and what happens? Gets a few guests for one night, too busy drinking to cover the second night. By the time he talks about Roe being struck, it's five days later. And then he ends up opening the lolcow door because you know what? He didn't prep to talk about anything, so all he has to talk about is himself. And one of the reasons the court commentary works is he doesn't prep for them. Again, lazy.

So of course he's bleeding subscribers.

Compare this to Emily Baker, and see what planning and follow through can do. Her clips channel has (almost?) passed 100k, and for the most part, she has maintained her regular schedule.

Nick's manic marathons, at best, will inevitably lead to a boom / bust cycle because there is no follow up. And at some point, the YouTube bucks will disappear, because of the drinking and the edgelord content, at some point he crosses a line and he's off YouTube. Those Rumble Rants may send the creator a larger cut, but it doesn't even represent 10% of the YouTube audience.

He keeps leaning on the family stuff. Either it's an excuse or it really rattled him that bad.

But I agree, mr editor should be going ginzo and extracting segments just to keep the day content up for the depp newbs, maybe nick is just a control freak who doesn't want to let them upload a bunch of stuff, just clipping what he asks for. Personally I don't like having extra shit, I just want the streams.

It would be nice if he would do maybe the first couple hours of his stream on Youtube and then make the rest exclusive to one of the other platforms. That way he could save the spicy stuff for someplace safe and give the audience an incentive to use one of the other platforms. The dude is such a fucking boomer. He is successful DESPITE his shitty work ethic. Goddam lawyers must be the laziest assholes on the planet.

Check the timestamp next time you hear it. Last stream he dropped one about 2 hours 18 minutes in.

If YouTube ever flips a switch and lets the transcription run longer, that'll be an interesting day...

I mean, for all the talk about his work ethic, he at least puts in the hours. If you're gonna stream for 12 hours a day, there's only so much prep you can do. His charisma and ability to hold a conversation with himself usually carry him enough to make it work.
