Given that it has to be cheaper to just let it happen at this point rather than eat tje cancellation fees that are inevitable in the contracts with the event space, hotel and other vendors.

That very much depends on if it makes money or not, even then RTX would have to lose enough that he'd even notice that RT exists.

Socialblade counts their channels' growth in steps of 10K, so we can't actually see if they've gained subs <10K as a result of this and probably won't be able to hypothesize for another couple of months.

It's minimum effort for decent algorithm payoff, makes sense to do if you're trying to grow your audience and reach more people. But yeah, it's a huge channel that had an established and diehard audience, little tricks like this are great for up-and-comers, but it won't pull them out of their death spiral. Probably won't even stem the bleeding numbers for that long.

The fight choreographies aren't as interesting, but they're infinitely better animated, the vocal songs are better, but a lot of the moments that had mediocre buttrock now have generic orchestral music, and it just feels kinda wrong. The most important part though, it's an actual anime and not MMD models, so the characters don't look fucking deformed at certain angles.

If Youtube is trying to make shorts a thing then uploading shorts probably helps the algorithm promote the channel. However if their shorts aren't funny then it's not actually gonna benefit the channels.

Shorts just get you a ton of exposure, being bite sized clips any tard can consume but that's not gonna mean much to the Lets Play channel which subsists off 30 minute plus videos and the engagement money they bring.

It's kinda odd they even need exposure since they own the name LETS PLAY. You figure owning such a common phrase would get you all the exposure you need but hey, gotta do the tik tok shit to get that sweet exposure to your dying channel.

Much more fluid than Monty's stilted action figure style of animation, but it's just putting a fancy bow on a stinky shit and calling it higher quality. The show is still shit at it's core.
