I'm in my 20s but have been a teenage worker recently enough to give an opinion:

Yes teens obviously are/can be lazy but I also know that they get abused in the workplace for the simple fact of "they're kids lol" and get fired over the dumbest shit. There are many such cases of getting fired because they didn't do something perfectly when they weren't told how to do it. Someone I know got fired for this reason and when they protested by "but you never told me this, why didn't you address that with me?" the response was "I'm too old to train kids." This also happened to me. Also, people will also hire a bunch of teenagers then act like the sky is falling when they want off to go to prom or senior night. I've also noticed the reward for being a solid, dedicated teenage employee is getting shat on worse than the ones that suck.

Oh, for the first time in seemingly forever saw a place selling gas for less than $6/gallon. The Monterey Navy Exchange's gas station was selling regular this morning for $5.94. The base gas station where I go was selling it for $6.28. Thought all the military exchange gas stations were getting gas from the same distributor. WTF.
