Well, look at it this way - tbh it was either this or her fade into obscurity, possibly with egg on her face.
I get the general sense of disappointment but idk to me it feels expected. It was unlikely she'd end up at another Japanese corp since corpo culture over there probably quietly enforces noncompete, and vshojo is the "rising trend" outside of Japanese vtuber corps.
It sucks, I feel like she could have kept at it longer and seen the fruits of her labor, but tbh she probably wants stability at this point.

I'll try to be optimistic and say this could at least hopefully lead to more fluid interactions with JP vtubers and ironmouse who is the only vshojo I still occasionally watch. She has been on a roll lately interviewing other vtubers and if kson was available to help with translating or teaching her some Japanese that could help.

Here's what happened:

Kson gets:
- Yearly Salary
- Keeps her Superchat/Memberships earnings as an indie
- Very little management to restrict her content
- Easier for her to work on merch/ad-deals as the corpo side can handle that

Vshojo gets:
- One of the biggest talents associated with Vtubing
- Someone to give their JP branch some sort of validity
- Someone they can use for branding and advertisement deals (which is where they will probably make their money from)

I don't think this is a case of Kson "struggling as an indie", because if she really wanted an agency, she could've opted for a better talent agency, like UnitedTalent which is bigger, has no negative image and already has a huge list of more popular streamers.

Her joining Vshoujo is 100% for the "image" and maybe she will even have a say on how it works instead of it just being a tag next to their name like it has been for a long time.

-KSON/Coco is upset how her career was progressing in Hololive and decides to leave on good terms.
Okay.
-KSON's subs spike afterward to the point she is close to Coco's sub count and has all the creative freedom without corporate agency overlords.
Great.
-She then decides to not be independent and throw her lot in with another agency.
What?
For all her promises of bigger and better things she otherwise would not be able to do under Hololive's branch, she does this in the end.

I mean I kinda get why at least with Vshojo as weird as it sounds? Vshojo despite being a corporation basically functions more as a conglomerate of large independent Vtubers that do whatever while still having certain benefits of larger corporations (funding, connections, and silicon valley backing in this case).

Main VShojo drawbacks is that their probably the least professional company currently in the market, they're management is actually non-existent so no tard wrangling, and half their roster is uh not exactly great atm (Vei outed herself as one of the biggest bitches in the Vtuber community a la Saruei, Zen is a TTS menhera that constantly has breakdowns, and Hime might as well not exist.)

I'll admit I don't watch much KSON streams or vids. Joining Vshojo? Disappointing but it's her choice I guess. I just hope she doesn't go down the route of Snuffy or other indies that interacted too much with Vshojo they opted to go from indie to the skank on the corner

Personally I'm fine with it as long as they aren't being obnoxious about preaching it. It doesn't actually matter which wing of politics, hearing an entertainer proselytize is obnoxious and is often a show of contempt.

They were a bunch of already established indies coming together to make an org like a lot of other twitch streamers have. Their only real new talent launch was Hime who really doesn't do anything, so we'll see how this new key angel goes.

Translations of his Twitter mentioned that him and AC had creative differences and even though Anycolor tried to reach a consensus many times up until February, he didn't feel satisfied with anything, plus he felt like he'd be half-assing it, which would be disrespectful to his peers and fans. I don't know moonrunes though, so maybe @Scuttle is basing his version from the stream, where he could actually explain it better. His YT will stay up after graduation, but some of the vids may go private.

Really unfortunate, since he was a super rare case of a Vtuber who gave a shit about his lore for more than 24 hours after debut. People mention Salome playing a character, but Mayuzumi's been doing that too, and as for how that turned out, even though he's disabled SCs, he still made enough from memberships and merch/voice packs to make big donations to orphanages, or have his lore appear all over Shibuya.

We can only theorize what happened or what's going on in his head, and god fucking knows some people will probably pull the equivalent of Baz shilling Norf FC, but it probably wouldn't be too far of a reach to suggest that he told the story he wanted to, and felt like it was his time.

The fact it took 24 hrs to turn around and go "man this was a dumb thing to do" tells me she really didn't think any of this through before doing it. Along with some generally confusing things like saying she was thinking about people using it for "evil intent" but in the rant she mentioned people calling characters traps. Which tells me she wasn't clear about what she was thinking and again that she was being very reactive. Also she confirmed her feelings were because of friends who didn't like it, the feesh just seems very naive and political stupid. As someone earlier pointed out, her politics seems based on Twitter movements. But overall I'd say I liked the video, merely because she realized how she messed up and that she probably shouldn't have said anything and apologized; good on her.

Depends on how. If I remember correctly Shes on good terms with Nux so they might finally be able to fix that bridge with vshitshow. I remember correctly on the Some Ordinary Podcast Nux made an off-handed comment that one of the girls tried to stream with him after the cancelation attempt and he basically told them to get bent/ didn't want to associate with them anymore.
