High Guardian Spice - Tumblr: The CalArt Anime

"I'm the Avatar, YOU gotta deal with it!"

If this is the woman post-surgery it is exactly as I stated. Unless she walks around topless - in which case people will just be put off by her scars, not her lack of boobs - nobody who looks at her will have any idea she's not just flat chested. I wouldn't know looking at that. I even have the context to know to look for it and I still can't tell.

to be honest, raye's just your typical troon. nothing special. Although the reception wikis claim Raye bullied some Twitter user into suicide. Then again, it is a Reception Wiki.
EDIT: Reception Wikis lied. Raye never bullied anyone (as far as anyone knows) And TTS Wiki just wants something to rant on as usual.

Crappy Games Wiki and its sister sites deserve their own thread. The sheer amount of autism and rage that can be condensed into a single page is almost impressive.

Why the fuck did she even need to remove her tits? She could've just gotten a breast reduction. That way, she'd be flatter but also not have to permanently hack her mammaries off.

Because tumblr culture, which she is a product of, obsesses over sex reassignment surgery to the point of fetishizing it more than perhaps anything else on the site. Since she's obsessed with people obsessing over and reacting to her, people would just know she only had a reduction and not a removal, and while that would anger The Men, it wouldn't also confuse strangers and make them question their very understanding of gender. Only a woman without breasts could do that.

I mean, even if they realized she had a masectomy, people would just assume she's a cancer survivor and move on, but she's thinking with the tumblr filter, and in tumblr nobody has cancer and everybody is trans.

It was extremely uncomfortable and a perfect example of how trannies are extremely attracted to the idea of 'helping' unconventional youths walk down the same path they did. The answer to Snap in a more conventional show would be that 'you don't have to be super manly, just be you.' and that would be fine, probably. But instead, Rafe thinks it's good to have an authority figure come in and plainly say you aren't really a boy, you're a girl, that's your answer no ifs ands or buts. ` Shit's creepy as shit and total groomer behavior. No wonder these faggots want to be in academia, their number one fetish is getting to 'awaken' the sexualities of youth.
The set up for Snapdragon's story is so unironically problematic too. His douchebag macho dad and his douchebag macho brother tormented him for not being "manly" enough so the answer isn't that it's okay to be a gentle, sensitive man but that he must actually be a girl? The fuck is that.

Tranny mental illness is what that is. It's fucking sickening.

The double standard on full display is palpable. "It's fine for a rough and tumble girl to exist, but God forbid a guy express anything other than toxic masculinity or no personality!"
That's what the writers convey throughout this shitshow. It's madness!

It's a shame, imagine how many more shows will come and go with the same bullshit as this.

This is one of my reasons for never liking the trannies. They unironically wanted for this traditional gender division. "A man is gentle and sensitive instead of macho? That means they secretly wants to be a girl! There's no other way to explain it!" or something like that

She's opted for nippleless, because deep down she's always been one of those nippleless, chest hair-free dudes from Disney's Aladdin trapped in a woman's body.

And look how happy she is about it!
You know, in one way this is a total vindication of that popular Tesla quote, "You may live to see man-made horrors beyond your comprehension." On the other hand, this wasn't really what I was expecting. I guess that's what the "beyond your comprehension" part meant. I was hoping for something more like The Prestige.

I don't like Kate Leth, but honestly I'm not enough of a sadist to do this to anyone. I don't know how these surgeons live with themselves.

Cash. Enough cash to fill a swimming pool and float around in it like Scrooge McDuck. It probably helps that a few of them are also most likely True Believers who honestly think they're helping and will not adjust their mental models according to the hard data.

In that case, I don't blame the surgeons. It's mainly the customers, really. They're never wrong, as they say....

I thank them infact. It helps to show the truth, really, that many of them are unhinged and deranged.

We're lucky to live in the age where the mentally ill are willingly lining up to not only chemically sterilize themselves but are doing so in such a way that it leaves permanent disfigurement that allows anyone to easily pick them out and avoid them.

Pick them out? Yes. Avoid them? No. Not if you still want to put bread on the table or keep your social life intact (see: people getting fired/cancelled for "transphobic comments" - or calling a joker who insists it's a spade a joker). Fortunately, the pendulum seems to be slowly but surely swinging back. It's a matter of when this'll all blow up in their faces, not if.

Time will certainly decide for us.

Tranny kids and pro LGBTQ+ zealots are openly bullying the disabled and those who don't want to acknowledge their warped view on the world. It's definitely going to snowball soon.

An interesting rewrite (considering the "magic HRT" thing), with Rosemary meeting a Snapdragon after he becomes a girl, giving potential to interesting scenarios, possibly making Professor Caraway a villain:

"Oh, so you're trans as well?"
"Yes... I'm not sure on what name to pick."
"Just like Professor Caraway, cool! How is the "potion therapy" thing going?"
"Um... Potion therapy?"
"Yes, what about it?"
"I didn't do that... All I did was put a spell on myself to change my gender permanently. It's a pretty simple transformation spell, so it can last for life, unlike transforming someone into, I don't know, a rainbow sea dragon who can manipulate all the elements and breathe out neon stardust."
"Huh? But... Caraway said he put a gender-changing spell on himself and has to drink a potion once a month so the spell can't be reversed!"
"Oh, no, that's a thing used for temporary gender spells so the effect lasts longer. It's a method used for disguise."
"...

Wait, what?!"

That would require Raye to have an inkling of self-awareness and be willing to make her self-insert avatar be seen as a potential bad guy (which is funny that men are seen as the lesser-sex and be legit bad guys yet transmen aren't like other girls boys), or at least have actual flaws like cowardice.

In case anyone cares

A GoFundMe campaign page revealed on Monday that storyboard artist and animation director William Ruzicka (High Guardian Spice, Onyx Equinox) passed away on February 1. He had been having breathing difficulties, and he passed out as he was getting into his car to take himself to urgent care.

The campaign is raising money for a Life Memorial event for Ruzicka, tentatively scheduled for March. Money raised will cover the memorial venue, dinner, drinks, and other related expenses. The campaign will donate excess funds in Ruzicka's name to a charity that will be revealed later. As of press time, the campaign has raised US$4,070 raised out of a goal of US$35,000.

Ruzicka worked on multiple animated series including the Crunchyroll original series High Guardian Spice and Onyx Equinox. He served as storyboard artist for both series as well as director for the former's final episode. Ruzicka also worked on the Invincible, Blood of Zeus, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight animated series, as well as the Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines animated films.
