Disagree. Depending on your dedication and technique, gender stereotypes in art styles can be blurred very easily. The coolest shonen manga/anime Full Metal Alchemist is made by a chick. The cutest western cartoon The Powerpuff Girls is made by a dude. Raye alone can't hide her pension for cutesy shit unless she knuckles down and practices. Raye won't though, "he's" too lazy and crazy.

My apologies for not being more active with updates, but things have finally calmed down enough on my end to give some more info.
"Fleurs" will be an RPG as my set-in-stone medium. Currently designing the sprite art first as a physical sketch, then digitized. Here's one of the central characters' sprite sketches, Snapdragon. The stick fig is hopefully going to be a rough blueprint for less "chibi" battling or town sprites. Wish me luck!

EDIT: Also, managed to get my hands on a copy of RPGMaker VX, which will probably be more primitive, but I'm down for a challenge!
