General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Translation is out:

July 28 will be his 3rd year anniversary, and there will be a stream or a video everyday until that day.
Coincidentally, July 28 will also be his last day with ANYCOLOR.
He proceeds to explains his reasons with a Yukkuri meme.
Didn't he say that he still has a lot to do last August? Why is he quitting?
The topic of terminating his contract didn't come up last August, and he thought he would continue as usual.
His reason for quitting is "massive creative differences" between him and the company which began last November.
Last November, the company submitted a proposal on how he may proceed with his career.
The proposal was a hard pill to swallow for him, so he told them that he's considering resigning.
Are you saying the company's wrong?
Nope, there has been discussions since February. They tried to make compromises, but they couldn't find a common ground, so the only option he had was to resign. He also emphasizes that he quit on his own terms.
If you quit, what would that accomplish?
He apologizes for taking the selfish route instead of extending his career. His heart was no longer in it. If he continued with his vtubing, he felt that will only be disrespecting all the things around him, and end up betraying himself which is terrifying for him.
What will you do after you quit?
He has no plans yet. He presumes he will continue living as an unknown character in the virtual world.

The Youtube and Twitter accounts will stay, but parts of the archive will be unlisted, and the Twitter will be privated.

So this appeared on my feed and made me think: How are the chances of Phase Connect buying Tsunderia or both merging in one company?
Tsunderia seems like a slowly sinking ship personally, even though it looks like they managed to avoid fully sinking for now with the emergence of their current open auditions.

Either they're going to be bought and merged by someone else or they're going to announce bankruptcy and current roster become indies. Either way, they only have one founding member left and several of the newer ones that debuted late last year.

I tried to skim the last 25 pages. Does this sum it up? I may be drunk:

Crazy if true, can anyone confirm this? :stress:
Did you tweet this? @msd

LMAO eat shit, china
That's what i'm saying though. Even if you don't like Vshojo, the chance to piss off the Chinese is worth it.

I kinda dig it. Honestly, she would fit in the universe as a side character.

I really didn't expect the Kson joining Vshojo news. It'll be interesting to see where all that goes and if it'll change people's minds about the company.

Of course taking on Kson would also be inheriting the chink antis. They never did leave it seems. I wonder how Vshojo will react. I hope they stick to their guns and chase out the bugman menace.

Niji need her way more than VShojo right now, then.
Oh my god, if Kson joined Niji instead you see their profit tank overnight.

Are we able to see the demographic for Vshojo fans/whales? I be surprised if they had a decent portion of chinese fans but i'm not knowledgeable in Vshojo stuff really.

>it hasnt even a day and bug-men are being bugmen

lol lmao, hope Vshoujo wasnt too invested in chink-money
Imagine if a Vox & Kson collab happens

Im just assuming, most of the fans are western, as in USA since it resonates with their degeneracy otaku culture and because all the girls speak only english. Mousey has a decent portion of the spanish speaking market. I guess Japan its the 3rd biggest market cause of the marketing they had all this time and the rest is spreaded all over the world.
