So NotRushia, who thought someone streaming at the same time as her was them bullying her, might be joining what is effectively the mean girls club of VTubers...

I still can't get over the fact that someone could be bullied by Aqua. What other horrible things did she do to the artist formerly known as Rushia? Make goblin noises, and drool on her floor like a pug?

Glad to see that I'm not the only one confused as all shit towards Kson joined vshitshow. As someone said before, the only reason that makes sense is merch. Beyond that, they have literally nothing to offer her whatsoever, same with NotRushia. They don't do music, they barely get any sponsors due to their reputation, there's really nothing for either of them to gain from joining that group.

As far as I'm aware, Nina followed KSON but that was cut off shortly after her Russian stream way back when. Then, some time later, Rosemi followed KSON but KSON didn't follow back.

I don't recall it ever being a widespread thing across the branch.

Would be interesting to see if she is mysteriously absent from collabs given NijiEN and VShojo's friendly ties, but I don't think there's much weight to this specifically.

Is it possible we are overthinking the Vshojo/KSON crossover and that, the big reason might be they might just all be friends? Sounds stupid but these are women. And it isn't like VShojo takes a huge cut or does much editing of member content. Sounds like gunrun has a basic "give us a small cut and we will do the annoying business-side and merch stuff". Nothing much to gain but nothing major to lose either. Beyond a very small handful of random Youtube comments, 4chan autists, us, and jilted twitter lolicons nobody cares about the Nyanners, Froot, or Vei dramas or the rrat about Ironmouse having a daughter.

I don't understand how this could have come to a shock to anyone. She streams more on Twitch than YT these days as well as ending her Mildom contract recently, she's spent months getting closer with Melody, Iron and others and was even given a spot on the Vshojo Minecraft server. She was with that company in all but contract only. If Mikeneko is actually in the company - I'm barely paying attention to Kson, let alone her - that is the only thing should come as a surprise and even then, there's no way she wanted to be stuck as an Indie. If someone with the drive like Kson has had troubles, Notrushia would have been absolutely fucked on her own.

I'm not sure if I heard it here or from her dedicated split thread in 4chan but she supposedly got fleeced when attempting to make her own merch. People underestimate how hard the behind the scenes work really is. She may have unfortunately made that exact mistake after leaving cover and decided that joining VShoujo would be better than trying to handle everything on her own. I do hope however that her contract is structured differently since VShoujo's split is different from Cover's since VS allows the streamer to keep all of their profits from streams but in return they take a waaay bigger bite from merch sales, something like 80% if the VShoujo threads are to be believed which is crazy to me especially knowing how profitable merchandising can be. There is one thing I do worry about although it might just be me being paranoid. Objectively speaking, Kson kinda failed with her move to being an indie since she not only lost a good chunk of her audience but her revenue from SC's as well. I wish her the best and Mikeneko too but if those two fail, I'm afraid that the other holo's might take it as confirmation that leaving Hololive is a bad idea and management might get even more leeway to bonk any dissent from the girls which is the last thing I want. The thought of some jackass manager telling Marine or Lamy to "do as your told or else you'll be gone and turn into Kson" fucking sickens me.
Reading this and the other quotes, her decision is more understandable to me. But while I get that she gets huge money from her SCs, does she have to give up 80% of her merch sales? I feel like this kind of bargain isn't good enough when her merch could sell like hotcakes. But then again, Kson doesn't have the widespread popularity someone from Holo or the big guns at Niji has so she probably thinks it's worth the risk. Then again, maybe I'm thinking this as someone who watches Niji more where they do say they get more money from merch sales since they don't have to split their shares with the company.
