Yeah the guy was a retard, but my point is, the only ones willing to directly fuck with Phil end up being retards, because for a long time we've discouraged direct trolling, so anybody competent just sits back and observes.

The truth honestly isn't so much that DSP is boring, it's that we are.

To an extent, I kind of agree. Some people are weird about protecting Phil, and from what I understand, it's even worse outside of the farms. But I don't think that means people aren't trying to do things. I think the people that do try and do stuff are smart enough not to talk about it before they do it, and when nothing comes of it they don't bring it up because, well, what's the point?

I also think some cases of potentially promising trolling just sorta...fizzle out and don't really go anywhere. But people are definitely trying to do things in a reasonable fashion. There's a reason we know so much about his paypigs, and assuming people aren't lying, they have contacted family members about the tipping. If I'm getting my lore right, a big part of the 1MM lore is that Jeff got doxed and people started contacting his workplace. And one other paypig notably stopped tipping as much, with people claiming it was because they talked to family members. We've also had people who were talking with OIC. I remember some people trying to cozy up to BSV back in the day to get potential Phil info from him, and quite a few people were willing to accept Anony when he first showed up with the hopes of getting some potentially useful info to use against Phil.

There's also stuff like the bank leaks, which if we're talking trolling, is pretty hard to top. Not to mention the rare moment Phil gets a sponsorship, plenty of people are quick to bombard them with Phil links. I imagine there's a fair amount of people that also report Phil's channel and nothing ever comes of it. And from a jaded point of view, that might be where some of the troll shielding comes from. It's less about protecting Phil, and more just frustration at someone suggesting something fairly obvious that they've tried to do before and failed. They're not saying "it's not worth it" because they want to protect Phil so much as they're frustrated with Twitch/YouTube failing to enforce their policies. So, less protective and more apathetic. And credit to Nigel, who managed to get articles written about DSP.

The sad truth is, a lot of trolling will go nowhere. And again, I think that lends to a somewhat jaded view. It's kinda like OIC talk, a lot of people just got tired about it not because they're trying to protect OIC, but because it was the usual same talking points being brought up. I constantly point to bank leak dude as the best example of messing with Phil. He didn't talk about it or build it up, came in and delivered the info, lingered to clarify/ask questions, then that was basically it. It wasn't this drawn out process where he started to leak information, promise more, than failed to deliver. It was entertaining, but if we're talking results, even that arguably didn't do much to hurt Phil. It made him uncomfortable, sure, and got some rants, but that's about it. I admit this might be a lack of creativity, but without wasting my time/resources, I genuinely can't think of any way to effectively make Phil's life worse than what he's currently forced to live.

So he's trying to invalidate the whole scenario based on the semantics that for him to even take it seriously, acknowledge and consider the offer, he'd had to be sent an official contract/offer on his business email. This is legitimately the mental gymnastics he's trying to pull of to convince the paypigs that he's not actually rejecting the money, but the offer was never even real... That's DSP for you.

Honestly I watched Daniel's apology video for calling a random elderly guy a pedo. It was probably the worst apology video I ever saw. Since then I've seen him do some pretty cool shit. He got a few YouTube channels unbanned. He, in my opinion (don't know or care how anyone else feels) was the only one I feel gave Wings a fair shake when that guy accused him of being an incestous child molestor. And he even gave Wings some good advice which Wings, to his credit, tried.

But this isn't about Keem's integrity its about Phil's ego. He really thinks who the fuck he is. And the reason I bring up Wings is because its funny how Wings forgave Keem for the troll stream and Keem forgave Wings for the dox. But Phil just holds grudges to the point where it hurts him. And it IS his choice to take or leave the deal. But he chose poorly.

When he told his audience outright that he didn't want to accept the offer and that taking that guaranteed money from Keem would be a form of "blood money" the vast majority of his crown users typing in that chat did not really seem that phased by Phil's decline of that offer, they all basically seemed to repeat the same usual sentiment towards him "that's why we like you Phil", "you're a good guy, not like Keem", "Phil is a true hard working honest streamer" etc.

It's absolutely surreal to me how much he constantly has to hound his audience for donations/support, over and over and over again for years, and if he would have taken that offer it would have said goodbye to that begging (okay not for very long considering his spending habits, but he wouldn't have an excuse to beg) for a considerable amount of time, under normal circumstances, most people would be up in arms and happy for someone like Phil who in there eyes has "had it tough the past decade" to see that money on land right on his lap after you know, just talking shit with a bunch of dudes on a podcast.

But of course Phil, and his audience, aren't normal people. Phil really must have been having this mental tug of war to himself not to "sell himself out" and in doing so he's lost a major opportunity to just do so much more with that money, even if was for stupid shit like Gin/Gacha/Doordash whatever, it could have been a gateway to solve many of his financial problems he's facing (if you take his word for it).

Was it really so Phil could feel morally superior to someone else and boast on a stream about how much of a stand up guy he is to the scumbag "bullies" or was it a combination of his shut-in tendencies and stupidity preventing from leaving his little pond in fear of being called out by people in the real world outside of his safe zone? I guess it could be a little bit of of both, I really do wonder which side of his brain he leads more towards when decisions like this come up.
