🐱 Viewers screaming after Drag Queen seen sniffing poppers live on Channel 4

Drag queen Fatt Butcher was captured sniffing poppers live on Joe Lycett’s Big Pride Party on Channel 4 on Sunday, and viewers are screaming.

Comedian Joe marked 50 Years of Pride in the UK with a big queer celebration held in his Birmingham hometown.

During the two-hour inclusive spectacular, which also featured a lesbian proposal, eagle-eyed viewers spotted entertainer Fatt Butcher clutching a little bottle of the legal high and noted them having a cheeky inhale.

Naturally, the internet went mad for the moment, with the artistic director later confirming the events on their Instagram Story

‘Mom, I just did poppers live on Channel 4,’ they penned.

Viewers expressed their delight at the scenes at hand on social media, with one saying they were ‘obsessed’.

‘@FattButcher sniffing poppers live on @Channel4 next to @joelycett is everything I needed tonight,’ said another.

A third was convinced this was a landmark moment in television history. ‘Sniffing poppers live on national television,’ they said. ‘This has to be a first.’

Poppers are sold in nightclubs, bars, sex shops, drug paraphernalia head shops, over the Internet and in markets.

Sniffing them increases blood flow to the body giving some users a head-rush that lasts for a couple of minutes, a sense of euphoria, and increased sex drive and skin sensitivity.

Because poppers increase blood flow and can relax the walls of the anus and vagina, some people take it while they’re having sex.

Some people say that it also makes their erections stronger, and their orgasms more intense. But for some men, it’s the opposite, and they have trouble getting an erection after sniffing them.

Joe’s bumper pride party saw queer heroes Boy George and Culture Club, Steps, and Self Esteem perform.

And of course, there was an abundance of celebrity guests including Hollywood superstar Rupert Everett, Heartstopper sensations Joe Locke and Yasmin Finney, It’s A Sin’s Olly Alexander, and comedian Mawaan Rizwan and Drag Race queens Tia Kofi and Tayce.

At first I thought it implied the viewers were repulsed by the deed being done on a live news broadcast, but you're telling me viewers were rooting and cheering for it?

Fuckin' hell. I don't care if poppers are supposedly legal, they're a cheap high used by a lot of degenerate gays and not something worth praise for taking.

Its a legal high so whats wrong?
I'm fucking confused, as taking poppers is NOT legal in the UK. It used to be...then they changed the law. They have to be sold as "room odorisers" now with strict instructions to not inhale them. This person actually did commit a crime on tv.

Slightly off topic, but it would be totally legal for drag queens to inhale a drug used to make anal sex less painful for gay men and then read a story to children. Not that they would ever do such a thing, salt of the earth that they are.

Amyl nitrate absolutely destroys your immune system. The correlation between use of Rush and developing GRIDS is astounding.
A lot contain alkyl nitrate or butyl nitrate these days and they also have the nitrates and nitrites, rather confusingly, but all utterly fuck your inhibitions (hey little kids! While I read you Spot Goes to the Gender Clinic, Sniff these and drop your boundaries completely!)
They also cause damage to several regions of the brain and can also damages your kidneys liver and even bones. If you take it with viagra it’s even more fun, and can make you stroke out or have a heart attack.
They are also very much not a legal high in the uk.

It's like suddenly deciding alkies are wholesome and kid friendly. There's nothing wrong with throwing gigantic hedonistic parties and doing any drug under the sun, but it's a sort of thing best kept away from polite society. Trying to maintain that drag queens are wholesome and kid friendly and seeing them do drugs in public without backlash or repercussions is incredibly fucked up.

Isn’t the drag world also full of hard drug abuse? I’m sure I read that elsewhere.
