Vshojo doesn't force the talents to pursue an Idol career, with singing and shit like that, unlike many other corpos. Heck, even PC makes all the talent participate in at least a cover or OG song from time to time, and IIRC, Vshojo doesn't even do that. (I'll admit, I don't even watch vshojo, not even mousey, so the everyday details escape me)

In short, she changed gachikois for coomers, and if she's comfortable with that change, good for her. I haven't watch any of her streams since the graduation, and I don't see that changing because of this news.

Depends. Covers/Originals are great money, this is why even if you're not a singing talent, you will be doing karaoke or a cover/original at one point in your corp career. The only reason Indies and small companies doesn't "enforce it/do it" is because of the cost involved. A lot of indies honestly can't afford it unless they get favors from friends or can do it themselves.

Watched the stream. It's pretty much what everyone said; the sale pitch was freedom to create anything she want and Vshojo deal with the merch, sponsorship, and legal issue if requested. They only take cut from merch they produced and marketed themselves. Anything she make on her own, be it merch or donation, would still go 100% to her. Also her IP is still fully her. Vshojo loose as hell concept of management fit with her style, and them only giving tech support and don't push her to do stuff if she doesn't want to also fit with it. Love it or hate it, Vshojo as a concept goes exactly with the grand dream she had since Coco time; that talent should be able to do whatever they want and have fun while doing it without restriction from old men who doesn't understand entertainment.

Personally, I get it, but I still feel that she's being too optimistic about the group. It's all too good on paper and there is a lot of retard shit that the company did when they do "help" their talents (god forbid they better off not being helped at all in the first place.) She seems to realized it herself though, which is why she emphasis several time that "each talent wipe their own ass", maybe as a way to distance herself when shit hit the fan from one of the thot next time. And she did said that if in years Vshojo turn into something that restrictive, she'll leave -- and the CEO promised that she can leave and form her own version of the company if that happen.

For now, I'll be optimistic too. Maybe she can form a new branch that's distance just enough from the the existing cesspool to enjoy the benefit while not get drag through the mud when the next drama finally happen. Rainbow optimistic, I know, but for now I'll cope with that. And hey, we might got notRushia with it too. Retard aside, that girl can make fun streams
