But yes, savescumming and other retard (accessibility) options are fuckin disgusting. They bring these games to modern consoles, upscale it a bit but the gameplay is totally lost with these functions. It makes no sense. (Similar feature is the rewind in racing games. I refuse to buy any game that has this in it.)

At least make it so that if you want achivements, you blocked from using these helps and you can choose baby mode but no achievements.

Remember, these games are all emulated which always had save states. It's not that serious and its quite convenient when playing on your own time or testing strats and what have you. But Phil here boasts how good he is and treating it as a nostalgic experience as well as playing for an audience. People are watching to see his "first hand experience" or see how good he is and watch him challenge himself. All that is out the window when he relies heavily on them. I just realized now that DSP and Tommy Tooter of all people have an interesting overlap in behavior. I can’t really keep up with Tommy’s board because it’s literally the same thing every three days: Tommy makes a thread to talk about trans rights and raping dogs, ranting like the KF is his own personal diary. But nothing is ever new, it’s the same three or four talking points repeated ad nauseam while people just sit back and call him a retarded old pedo.

Maybe it’s always been this way with DSP but the clips coming out of these streams from this year in particular are basically identical to each other: trolls cost me YouTube, twitch never gave me a reason, need money to just make ends meet, I’ve changed and here’s why. It’s basically any of those 4 variations in some particular order in between dead air and snake hiss laughs. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t know which of those two cows are the more redundant.
